Solid markets certainly have given all of us lots of optimism and onceagain confidence in the future of the industry…the cattle business hasalways been exciting and now is a great time to use Charolais bulls.

We are very excited to offer two new sire groups: Legend was chosen forhis calving ease, solid foot and long smooth body type. Our featured penof Legend sons at Agribition and the Medicine Hat Pen Show attracted atremendous amount of attention. Apache is also new; his deep bodiedsons will calve easy, add hair and structural soundness. We again haveanother strong group of powerful Pastor sons that will excel atincreasing growth traits, will feed exceptionally well, add hair and eyeappeal to any calf crop. The Paychecks are easy calving, deep bodiedbulls with an outstanding disposition, followed up by a consistent set ofReno and Gridmaker sons that are as predictable as any sire group in theCharolais breed providing calving ease, structural soundness and quietdisposition.

The bulls have performed exceptionally well this year, health wise and weight gain through tosale time. Once again we are happy to provide ultrasound data which confirms the strength ofthe genetic package providing a strong natural tendency to add muscle and increase yield.Many of the bulls in the sale are out of our super producing RBC Supreme ChampionGridmaker daughters and perennial powerhouse Detonator daughters.

The Cedarlea bulls and our cowherd have been on a full herd health program and are enrolledin the Boehringer Ingelheim Express Verified Plus program. The program guarantees there areno BVD PI bulls in our sale offering and each bull comes with a six month health warranty. Allthe Cedarlea bulls are vaccinated to protect their testicles from infection with BVD virus. Westand behind our bulls 100% and want to know how the bulls are working through thebreeding season.

We are very pleased with the sale offering this year. So often wehear that the bulls being offered for sale are much better than theprevious year. The quality of the Cedarlea bull pen this year is the best, most consistent it has ever been. The bulls are again well grown out,are very sound, with excellent hair and very quiet dispositions. The sire groups give you the uniformity that is so valuablewhen you go to sell your calves at the market. A few new sire groups this year gives you some new bloodlines that willimpress you I am sure. The Legend sons have calving ease, hair and performance with some breeder bulls in the mix that willfit into any herd in the country. The Apache is by the ever popular Kingston bull and this tan son of his has done a good jobproducing bulls with some colour and substance. The first sons of the Rolex bull who is sired by the time proven No Doubtshould be no miss producers for you. Again there are sons of the high selling Pastor and this will be the last year for the sons

of the Reno bull that has produced so many calving ease bulls for the industry out of this program. Plus, there are sons of the Supreme Champion Gridmaker andthe Paycheck bull which round out the genetic offering.
