Bussman Medical & Research is a Dutch Company with 40 years of experience as a construction company.The last 10 years Bussman has been building highly complex facilities for the health sector.The process in Odense began in spring 2015. Invest in Odense and Bussman estimated the potential of growth.In October 2015 an office and operating theatre were established. In January 2016 Bussman started hiring.

CONNECTInvest in Odense put together a strong team -­ a tailormade partnership fitting Bussman’s needs. The team included Invest in Odense (Business promotion), The Science Park (Office facilities, network) and Welfare Tech.

By bringing these three actors together with their various unique capabilities, Bussman got a holisticapproach to the establishment in Odense.

COLLABORATE

A key account manager from Welfare Tech provided Bussman with business partners and otherrelevant contacts in Denmark and helped describing and announcing the first job offer – resulting in recruiting quilified sales staff.

The Science Park helped finding location and getting building permit for the operating theatre.

CREATEBussman Medical and Research opened a test operating theatre facility in Science Park Odense for hospital managers, engineers, equipment providers and others to visit and test the newest innovation on hospital building techniques. The test facility consists of a full functional class one operating theatre plus a sterile storage and clean corridor.

Bussman expects four employees in 2016 and about 10 employees within the next 3 years.
