Program Highlights
• Kick off with address by the Mayor and Festival Film
• Live Kurdish language lessons
• Live Samba and International Folk dance Lessons
• Footage from Senegal – a village celebration showing the dance and culture
• Concert by Canadian Twin Kennedy
• Music by Deya (Bangladesh)
• Live Children’s Sing-a-long
• Music for Seniors Sing-a-longs
• Ended with another showing of the Celebrate Nashville Festival Film

APART-y Kits Given out at four Metro Community Centers that included:
• Coloring book pages and kids crafts
• Indigenous Peoples reading list
• List of Metro Departments with links to services
• List of food vendors now open for business
• Virtual Marketplace with artists portals and craft vendors
• Virtual Global Village with contributions from Nashville communities sharing information about their countries and cultures

Highlighting Festival artists and participants from Nashville and Middle Tennessee, Celebrate Nashville and Nashville Metro Parks produced a film that tells our unique story of unity, community, and positivity in a very challenging time. This uplifting, documentary-style film shares some of the history of Celebrate Nashville Cultural Festival and why it strengthens community bonds in Nashville.
