THURSDAY, JULY 2ND Eagle Scout Recognition Night, 7:00 p.m. Freedom Hills Park Honoring all who have earned their Eagle Award between January, 2014 and July, 2015. All others are invited to attend. “Throw Back Thursday” Centennial Street Dance, 9:00 p.m. to midnight Behind City Hall Come One, Come All and get your groove on as we throw it back 100 years at our Centennial Street Dance! (Sponsored by the Center- ville City Youth Council) FRIDAY, JULY 3RD Children’s Parade, 6:30 p.m. 160 South 200 East The parade will begin in the park- ing lot of the white church and will end at Founder’s Park. All children are invited to participate in the fun and laughter along the way! Each will receive a treat at the end of the parade. Decorate your bikes, trikes, wagons and strollers…and join us! Activities in the Park, 7:00 p.m. Enjoy the climbing wall, reptiles, balloons, free bounce toys, clowns, and spinning wheel ride. Booths will also be open for purchase of food, treats and games. To reserve a booth or register as a vendor, con- tact Dale Anderson at 801-721-9009. Free Concert in the Park, 7:00 p.m. This year’s concert will open with one of Centerville’s own, a musician, composer and performer, Kat Tingey! Her ability to express herself through words and music is nothing short of amazing. 8:00 p.m. This year welcome Eclipse 6! The signature sound of Eclipse 6 features tight harmonies, driving percussion, and infectious energy; all produced using just one instru- ment—the human mouth! Fireworks, 9:45 p.m. Don’t miss the grand finale of the evening with our spectacular fire- works show! SATURDAY, JULY 4THBreakfast at the Park, 7:00-9:00 a.m.Enjoy a delicious outdoor grilled chuck wagon breakfast! $3 each for children ages 4 to 9 (children 3 and under are free); $5 each for adults and children 10 and older; $20 for a family of up to 6 members.

Parade on Main Street, 9:00 a.m. Celebrate Centerville’s Centennial and our country at the 4th of July Parade, which may be one of our best ever! Please NO WATER spray-ing during the parade. Parents, please keep children out of the street! You may save seats beginning at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, July 3rd. Saving spaces in any way before 4:00 p.m. is punishable by a fi fty dollar ($50.00) fi ne. The parade begins at Chase Lane and ends at Pages Lane.

Activities/Entertainment in the Park10:30 a.m.–2:00p.m.Come enjoy a fun day, after the parade, with local talent perform-ing in the pavilion, a climbing wall, reptiles, balloons and bounce toys! Quilts and Historical Display 10:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Centerville Elementary School We are almost to our 100 quilts or blankets to be donated. Be part of history and donate in memory of Centerville’s 100 years! Also, we would love to have more quilts (not to be donated) or historical artifacts to display. Contact Kris Green 801-295-0473 or drop quilts/blankets to be donated at City Hall by June 30th.

PARKING RESTRICTIONSThere will be no parking allowed from 10 p.m. July 3rd to 11 a.m. July 4th at the following locations:

100 East between 400 N and 100 N

Chase Lane between 100 E and 400 W

Pages Lane between Main and 300 E

Main Street between 1100 N and Pages Lane

200 East between 250 N and 300 N (during the fi reworks display only)

FIREWORKS RESTRICTIONSThis summer, the legal days for discharging legal fi reworks are from July 1st to July 7th and from July 21st to July 27th from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. On July 4th and July 24th you may discharge fi reworks until midnight.

Due to the extreme danger of wild land fi res, Centerville City has pro-hibited the discharge of fi reworks on the east bench. The Firework Restric-tion Map shows this restricted area.

You may use fi reworks that are legally sold at retail stores in Utah that are designed for consumer use; these are labeled as Class C Com-mon or sometimes marked 1.4G. Any fi reworks that have the desig-nation Class C Dangerous Explo-sives are illegal.
