Home Learning Celebration
Josh has spent his week learning how to take apart and put back together his
skateboard and a bike. What a great at home learning experience!
Science
Miss Ben-Ali is very impressed with the number of students who have successfully
signed up to Seneca Learning. It is very important all students complete their work on
there, to keep them up to date with their science. Congratulations to Ralph, Harley,
Ben W, Sophie, Jamie D, James V, Leo C, Jayden H, Owen W for scoring very highly
in some assessments, some getting 100% on them! Miss Ben-Ali is so impressed; she
will be setting up extra practical challenges to try at home after the Easter Holidays.
Keep it up KS4!
*staff shout out* - Mrs Sodera spotted a request from COMMUNITYINCIDENT
(WILTSHIRE HEALTH & CARE) for any PPE in schools that could be used by the NHS. Mrs
Sodera was able to donate plastic aprons, goggles and safety specs and gloves.
Thank you!
Beech Class have been spending
lots of time outside in the sunny
weather over the Easter holidays!
Finlay has been busy painting
rainbow pictures to send into
school for the rainbow of hope
fence.
Sam has been busy on lots of bike
rides, den building and tree
climbing.
Tyler has been doing lots of bike
riding too. Tyler also set himself the
challenge of learning to tie his
shoe laces, which he was able to
master! Well done Tyler!
Catering
Mr Cale is very happy with this piece of splendid work from Leo M all about food
safety and food around the world. Great work Leo
English
Miss Page would like to congratulate Ralph for completing 4 hours of English
language and literature this week! This is brilliant and will mean that Ralph will
stay up to date with his English. Well done Ralph!
Miss Page would also like to say well done to Raife and Harley C for their
continued efforts and hard work with their English, always sending what they
have done to me to check and ask questions if they are unsure, which means
they are able to ensure they are on track and will not fall behind. Fab boys!
This is Harley’s work investigating the character of Shelia Birling from the play
we are studying: An Inspector Calls
Raife has created a brilliant newspaper report that tells of the events that
have happened so far in the book we are studying: The Curious Incident of
the Dog in the Night Time.
Adam has been busy
planting seeds to grow his
own vegetables and
herbs.
Olivia has also been busy
in the garden over easter,
Doesn’t her pot look
beuatiful?
Olivia’s mum was also
busy in the garden this
Easter and cut her hand
with a saw chopping
some branches. Olivia
was able to use her first
aid to put a dressing on
for her. Well done Olivia.
Daisy made these
creations out of loom
bands
Ben made this beautiful collage rainbow of hope to celebrate key workers.
We think it is beautiful, and incredibly creative! We even made it our
FaceBook cover photo! Great job Ben.
The Therapy Blog
How do the therapy team reduce their anxieties??
When things change we might feel a bit more anxious than
normal. We all do different things to help us stay calm and to help
us feel less anxious.
Here’s are some of the things that the therapy team do!
Rebecca has made a short clip to help you practice deep breathing and feel
calmer!
