Have you been keeping up with our

Watermark University classes Which Way

USA? So far we've traveled through

Alabama, cooked shrimp & grits, Alaska, cooked Baked Alaska,

Arizona, cooked chimichangas, Arkansas, made chocolate

gravy & biscuits and next stop is California! We'll learn what

the Giant Dipper, Wipe Out, Tsunami, Crazy Surf and Fireball

are...but what will we cook? Come join us to find out!

Ever heard of the movement "Kindness Rocks?" The mission is to be

an inspiration to others to make random and selfless acts of

kindness. It's all about spreading kindness where you might least

expect to find it. First, we find smooth river rocks, paint our rocks

any color of our choosing, decorate them with designs and then

with kind words. Once dry, you then place your rocks in random

places for strangers to find. Simply to brighten one's day. This may

seem like a small token but can truly turn around an entire moment,

lift the spirits of someone or inspire the receiver to share an act of

kindness on their own. We chose sayings like "You are Beautiful"

"You Matter" and "Smile" to share with others! #kindnessrocks

Town Center & The Inn

There are these great

moments in life that stay with

us forever. The happiest

moments are those spent

smiling and spending time

with the people you care

about. Before the prom there

were volunteers that helped

our guests prepare for the evening by offering dance practice and

offering hair & makeup appointments. Our very talented Sous Chef

Kenny King prepared delicious Oreo cheesecake bites and our

amazing dining staff prepared some pretty awesome party punch.

We spent the night gettin' groovy & having fun! It was full of

laughter, music and a whole lot of shakin' our groove thangs! Our

Disco King- Tom and Disco Queen- Jan were crowned and shared a

memorable dance. This night was most definitely one of those that

will go down in history! Congrats 2019 Disco Prom King& Queen!

Summer is a great time to enjoy outdoor

activities. Taking simple precautions will

ensure a fun-filled and safe summer.

Here are a few reminders for having fun

in the sun:

It only takes a few minutes to protect

yourself from too much sun exposure to

reduce your risk of sunburn and

skin cancer. Apply sunscreen and lip

balm with SPF of 30 or higher. Discard if

the expiration date has passed. Limit

midday sun exposure from 10:00 AM to

4:00 PM when the sun is its strongest.

Wear loose fitting, light colored clothing

and a hat with a brim, and always wear

sunglasses with a high UV rating (100 is

the best). Stay hydrated, drink plenty of

water and sit in the shade when

possible. Stay safe and enjoy the

summer!
