ACTION TALK: purposeful action driven communication

1. REQUEST: specific request or question that enables response (Yes / No / negotiate)

2. PROMISE: promise of performance - commitment to act

3. DECLARATION: definition of objectives in creating a new result

4. ASSESSMENT: judgement over action and result (NB: subjective)

5. ASSERTION: acceptance and/or response based on objective criteria

Trust requires cooperation. That is hard work.

Are vision and objectives shared and communicated? Are expectations and results understood on both sides? Is motivation for co+operation ensured? Is trust present, are relationships managed well? Are communication channels open, is feedback loop

maintained? Are differences acknowledged and accepted? Are conflicts negotiated effectively?
