The Vocational course in Financial Market Management (FMM) has beenintroduced in your school in class XI from the current academic session. Thereforeyou are requestedto take note of the registrationprocedure,availabilityof textbooksinall three subjects of FMMand details of mentorcentres for informationand immediatenecessaryactionas given below:

A. Reaistration of students in class XI

B. Sample Question Papers and Availabilitv of Text Books:

1. The Sample Question Papers along with the design and blue print, in all thethree subjects of Financial Market Management in class XI are enclosedforreference.

2. The Practical Manuals in the three subjects pertaining to the FMM course areunder print and as soon as they are available for sale, you will be informedaccordingly.

3. The Textbooksin all the three subjectsof the FMMcourse have been publishedby the Board. They are available in the CBSE bookstore as well as theRegionalOfficesof the BoardexceptRO,Guwahati as per the followingdetails:

-Introduction to FinancialMarkets-I - ClassXI-Rs. 250/- copy.- Accountingfor Business- I Class XI - Rs. 175/-copy-Computer Application in Financial Markets - Class - XI-Rs. 170/-copy.

Procedure for placina the supplv order for copies of the Textbooks.

. Decidethe number of copies of each textbookas per the requirement of yourschool, taking intoaccount the number of students enrolled in the course andthe requirementof the teacher and the library.

. Calculate the total cost of the Textbooks keeping the following'points in view:-

~ Ifthe order is for ten or more copies of books 15% discount on the totalcost is allowed. Calculate the total cost separately for each of the threeTextbooks.

~ Calculate the total cost of copies for all the three Textbooks required.

~ Add 3% of the total cost towards packing charges. This willgive thetotal amount to be sent to CSSE.

~ Send a bank demand draft for the above amount in favour ofSecretary, CSSE. accompaniedwitha lettergivingdetails ofthe booksordered, amount, discount, packing charges etc. mentioningclearlytheaddress to whichthe consignmenthas to be sent.

~ Send the letter enclosing the Crossed Demand Draft to the followingaddress:

Mode of dispatch of consianment.

. The CSSE bookstorewill pack the books ordered and dispatch it to theaddresses mentioned in your letter through Transport Corporation ofIndia(TCI) under 'To Pay' mode. The consignee note and the bill withreceipt for the cost of bookswill be sent to you by post. TCI will deliverthe consignment on production of the consignee note and payment offreight charges.

. It is advisable that you place the order immediatelyif not done alreadysothat the books are available for the students and teachers.

C. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF MENTOR CENTRES

As you are aware the National Stock Exchange is closely involved with CBSEin monitoring the progress of the course. The NSE has the following role andresponsibilities with respect to the implementation of the course:

1) Provide help and assistance with regard to the test schedule for the NCFMmodules, Financial Markets: A Beginners Module, Capital Markets (Dealers)Module, Derivatives Markets (Dealers) Module.

2) Provide guidance with reg~rd to the test pattern of the NCFM modules.3) Assist with regard to answering queries and clarifications of teachers and

students on the subjects covered under the NCFM modules.4) Arranging for meetings with teachers as per pre-defined schedules.5) Providing additional training to teachers whenever possible.

NSE has six nodal centres across the country. For the purpose of providing guidanceto schools NSE has suggested that each school may be attached to a centre. Thedetails are given in the table below:-
