Mon collège se trouve près du centre-ville, à côté d’une piscine. Il y a à peu près huit cents élèves et environ cinquante profs.
On peut faire trois langues vivantes : l’anglais, l’espagnol et l’italien, et moi, j’étudie l’anglais et l’espagnol. Ma matière préférée, c’est l’EPS. Je trouve le français intéressant, car j’aime beaucoup lire et écrire, mais je trouve la physique ennuyeuse. Quand le prof parle, je ne comprends pas !
Les cours commencent à 8 heures et finissent à 16 ou 17 heures. J’ai de la chance, parce que je n’ai pas de cours le samedi matin.

5 Read this email from Jean-Yves.
Salut !
Ma famille habite près de Rouen, dans le nord. J’ai une petite sœur, Delphine, mais je n’ai pas de frères. Mon père est directeur d’un collège en ville et ma mère est actrice, mais elle ne travaille pas beaucoup depuis la naissance de Delphine. Elle donne des cours d’art dramatique à un groupe d’adolescents pendant les vacances scolaires. C’est pourquoi je dois quelquefois m’occuper de Delphine. Elle est très sage, alors ce n’est jamais un problème.
En semaine, je ne vois pas souvent mes parents, car ils sont très occupés tous les deux, et je joue aux jeux électroniques dans ma chambre. Alors, le week-end, nous faisons un effort pour faire quelque chose ensemble. On fait du sport ou une promenade à la campagne. Cependant, je ne vais pas au cinéma avec mes parents, parce que ma mère parle tout le temps et je ne peux pas me concentrer sur le film.

Nous avons séjourné dans votre hôtel du huit au quinze mai. C’était notre première visite et c’était bien, même si notre chambre était trop petite. Le jour de notre départ, mon mari a payé mais, après notre retour à la maison, j’ai remarqué qu’il avait payé un supplément pour les journaux que nous avions reçus, mais aussi 40 € pour regarder des films à la télé dans notre chambre et pour les boissons que nous avions prises dans le minibar.
En fait, nous n’avons même pas regardé la télé pendant notre visite et il n’y avait pas de minibar dans notre chambre.
Notre séjour a été très agréable et nous avons surtout apprécié la cuisine régionale du restaurant et le sauna, mais je vous serais très reconnaissante de bien vouloir nous rembourser l’argent que vous nous devez.

J’adore habiter au Québec. Quand j’étais petite, j’habitais en France. J’y retourne tous les deux ans pour voir mes grands-parents et je leur envoie souvent des e-mails.
J’habite en forêt et on est comme perdu dans les bois. Pourtant notre village n’est qu’à une heure de route de Montréal. L’un des avantages du Québec est d’être un très grand territoire comptant peu d’habitants.
L’hiver, on patine sur les lacs et, l’été, on y fait de la natation ! Ce qui me plaît, c’est d’avoir quatre saisons bien marquées. En hiver, 4 mètres de neige, ça n’est pas exceptionnel. La neige fond vers la mi-avril. En été, la température peut monter jusqu’à 40°C.
On voit des animaux sauvages régulièrement dans notre jardin. Pour moi, la plus agréable et la plus belle des saisons, c’est l’automne. Il ne fait pas trop chaud, et pas encore froid. Les feuilles des arbres se colorent de rouge, d’orangé, de jaune et même de rose.
