Ash Wednesday Wednesday, February 26 th Ash Wednesday Services of Holy Eucharist with Imposition of Ashes 7:30 am, 12:10 pm, and 6:00 pm Ashes to Go: on Main Street/Eagle Square entrance 11:00 am 1:00 pm Churchwide Lenten Drive: Pennies & Pineapple February 27 th April 5 th During the Lenten season, we invite parishioners to support both the St. Paul’s Food Pantry and the Episcopal Church’s United Thank Offering (UTO) ministry, which funds new and innovative ways the Church can minister to communities in the U.S. and abroad. You can contribute to both of these ministries by: Dropping off canned pineapple at the back of the church. Peaches and pineapple are the two most requested fruits in the Food Pantry. Pick up a UTO change box (found at church entrances) and encourage your family, friends, and coworkers to help fill it with pennies (nickels, dimes, and quarters are most welcome too, of course!) We will collect the boxes at the Palm Sunday service. A Lenten Discipline that Cares for Creation During Lent this year, we can all reduce our carbon footprint by avoiding disposable plastics of all types: packaged produce, straws, shopping bags, plastic cups and utensils, bubble wrap, etc. Give it a try! We will meet at Grace Church in East Concord. Evening Prayer will be held at 5:00 pm, with supper and the program from 5:30 pm 7:00 pm. Take On a Daily Practice Forward Movement’s Lenten Calendar and a daily reflection booklet from Episcopal Relief and Development will be available at church entrances and in the office. Festival Choir Starting Sunday, February 23 rd St. Paul’s Festival Choir is an opportunity to join the choir and participate in our glorious Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, and Easter Sunday services. Rehearsals are held Sundays 11:30 am 12:30 pm; Mondays 7:30 8:30 pm; and Thursdays 7:30 8:30 pm, starting February 23 rd . Men’s Just Supper Monday, March 2 nd at 6:00 pm Just men, just supper.
