CENTRES OF SOCIAL SERVICES (CSS)

The network of 40 Social Services Centres (CSS) in the different neighbourhoods of Barcelona works to improve the well-being of individuals and families.

The teams of professionals in the centres will assist and inform you about the services, benefits and social resources portfolio you are entitled to.

WHAT CAN YOU FIND THERE?

• Information, guidance and advice.

• Assistance and support for individuals and families in situations of need and/or at risk of social exclusion.

• Formulation of the Individual Assistance Programme (PIAs) for people in situations of dependency.

• Resources and social benefits processing (home help and helpline services, financial assistance, social meals service, etc.).

• Referral to specialised social services and other welfare services (health, education, etc.).

• Collaboration with organisations and associations in the neighbourhoods to support them in their task of achieving social inclusion of specific groups.
