Even though the current global economic crisis continues, Busan IT industrieshave managed to maintain 1,498 enterprises and 23,261 employees in2016. In addition, they have earned 310 billion won in export sales. In comparisonto year 2010, the total sales amount increased from 3.6 trillion won to 5 trillionwon with 140 percent growth.

The total number of enterprises within the game industry inBusan have increased from 29 to 65 from year 2012 to 2016. In addition, thetotal sum of sales has dramatically increased from 13.2 billion won to 113.6billion won which is 8.6 times greater than before.
