Last week, a library housingrare and ancient texts fromacross the Islamic worldopened in Sarajevo. Funded by a $9 million grant fromQatar, the newly opened Gazi Husrev Bey Library,named after a similar library destroyed by war in the early1990s, has also taken in books that were displaced afterthe Bosnian National Library was razed in 1992.
