Cerner offers a complete set of benefits to address your physical, financial and emotional health. At Cern-er, we believe the foundation for a successful career starts with a variety of options that meet your needs while supporting a healthy lifestyle.
You are eligible to enroll in Cerner Benefits on your first day of employment. Eligibility for Cerner Benefits will vary by benefit. Generally, most associates will be eligible for Benefits. If a benefit provides coverage for a dependent the eligible dependents will generally include your spouse, eligible children, parents and parents-in-law.

Cerner supports and encourages healthy lifestyles through what we call Healthe at Cerner, our coordinated programs and services around health and wellness designed for you and your family members. Healthe at Cerner lets you take an active role in managing and achieving your health and wellness goals; it is our mission to empow-er associates and their families to obtain their optimal level of health.

Health Care Powered by Technology Cerner offers a variety of tools and applications to help you proactively manage and support your health + care needs. From wellness offerings to an electronic personal health rec-ord, Cerner gives you many of the resources you need to achieve the optimal health outcome. You will use your Cerner Health login to connect to these resources. The first step in our individual health journeys is awareness. As part of a ‘living lab’ at Cerner, we leverage our internal Healthe at Cerner programming through the Cerner Wellness technology platform called, the Healthe at Cerner Portal. The Portal is an interactive web-based hub for tracking and engag-ing in your health and wellness; helping you become more aware of and educated about your health. A few features of the Healthe at Cerner Portal include:
Complete a Personal Health Assessment (PHA or health questionnaire)
Space to self-enter lab and biometric results from a vis-it with your GP to track over time
Take wellness workshops relevant to your health and wellness needs
Track your progress (steps, cardio, strength training, water tracker, veggie tracker, etc.)
Access health education, blogs and resources (such as the Brain Health tool)
Learn more about the Healthe at Cerner monthly wellness themes and action items

Healthe at Cerner sets new standards for consumer-driven health care. By accessing the tools and participating in programs Healthe at Cerner offers, you will create and enhance the connections you need to make the best health care choices for you and your family.
Healthe at Cerner Portal
The Healthe at Cerner Portal, powered by Cerner Wellness, is a place where you can track your food, log steps, track cardio and strength activity and enroll in wellness classes and workshops.

1:1 Nutrition Consultations
For those needing guidance and/or motivation to start or continue on a healthier nutrition journey, associates and their family may schedule 1:1 nutrition consultations with Cerner’s onsite Nutritionist, Suvarna Hiramshetty. Schedule an appointment online in the Healthe at Cerner Portal.
Health Club Reimbursement
Cerner encourages healthy lifestyles and offers a health club reimbursement program for athletic club membership dues at approved facilities. Associates may be reimbursed for 50% of monthly fees up to a maximum of Rs. 800 per month (9600 per year).

Health Care
Cerner India associates have a comprehensive package of Medical benefits available to
them through our partners. Oriental, the insurer, and Vidal Health, formerly know as
TTK, who administers the health plan offer a national provider network with over 5500
hospitals in 360 cities across the country. For more information visit

Cerner pays 100% of the premium for associates and up to five eligible dependents. As-
sociates may cover their spouse, children, dependent parents and/or parents-in-law.

Pension Plan
Cerner’s comprehensive pension plan ensures the financial well being of our associates and
their families. The Provident Fund account is maintained with the Regional Provident Fund
Commissioner (RPFC, Bangalore).
Cerner contributes 12% of your eligible compensation towards your Provident Fund. Out of
the 12% contributed by Cerner an amount equal to Rs. 541 or 8.33% of your eligible com-
pensation, whichever is less, will be directed to the Employee’s Pension Scheme, and the
remaining account will be directed to the associate’s Provident Fund account.

Leaves Cerner provides a comprehensive set of absence policies to allow associates the ability to bal-
ance personal and work needs.
Maternity leave is available for 12 weeks at full pay
Paternity leave is available for up to five days
Extended sick leave is available after 10 days of PTO have been used for the same illness
This covers illness, funeral and bereavement time, military time off, office closings and other
absences.

In addition to the Employee’s Deposit Link Insurance Scheme
Gratuity Associates who work for Cerner for more than 5 years are eligible for gratuity payouts based
on eligible compensation upon separation. Payouts are calculated on the basis of 15 days eligi-
ble compensation for each completed year of service.

Time Off
Time Off Personal Time Off (PTO) at the rate of 27 days per year will be available to each associate on date of hire. PTO allows for time off from work for rest, relaxation, vacation, personal holidays, illnesses and other personal time with pay. Your PTO is accrued on a weekly basis beginning on your date of joining.
Holiday Cerner recognizes 10 public holidays per year when the offices will officially be closed.
Illness Time off for illness is based on your personal needs; if you are sick, you should stay home from work until you are well enough to return to work. Cerner also offers short-term disability benefits for all eligible associates:

Employee Assistance Program Cerner has contracted with New Directions Behavioral Health and Cerner HealthPlan Services to provide Cerner with an Associate Assistance Program (EAP). New Directions provides pre-paid counseling services by licensed counselors. Associates and/or their family may access this ser-vice via telephone. Service is available on a variety of topics (i.e. work, family, personal). New Di-rections’ specialists provide assistance 24 hours a day, 365 days per year to participants.
