Wood is the most important energy source in rural areas of Nepal. Due to high population growth wood is becoming scarce. The solution? A waste product of the

most important economic sector: agriculture. Your contribution helps to build biogas plants that convert dung into gas. This is then used, for example, for cooking on gas

cookers.

atmosfair operates its projects according to the Clean Development Mechanism(CDM) outlined in the Kyoto Protocol as well as the “Gold Standard” established by

international environmental organisations. Independent organisations approved bythe United Nations (e.g., TÜV) audit the projects’ actual CO2 reductions.
