Discovering in-depth demands of bene�ciaries and stakeholders of NGOs 9 hours Explore the critical factual information about bene�ciaries’ challenges Identify the di�erent levels of stakeholders for bene�ciaries’ challenges Prepare a series of empathic questions for conducting design researches Discover the bene�ciaries’ pain points, desires, and aspirations through empathy interviews

2. De�ning critical bene�ciaries’ demand in the social world 3 hours Cluster the critical factors of the challenge through qualitative data mapping Sketch the appearance, behavior and attitude of selected bene�ciaries’ segment(s)

3. De�ning social innovation opportunities in the real social world 3 hours Analyze the bene�ciaries’ experiences & challenges and expectations through bene�ciaries’ journey mapping Identify the major root cause and social innovation opportunities of bene�ciaries’ challenge(s)

4. Developing breakthrough and disruptive ideas 3 hours Develop di�erent levels of breakthrough ideas through vertical thinking approaches Develop di�erent dimensions of disruptive ideas through lateral thinking approaches

Fees and Online ApplicationAdmission Requirements Have obtained level 2 or above in �ve subjects in HKDSE

Examination, including Chinese Language and English Language; or equivalent, PLUS at least one year of relevant work experience in supervisory capacities in social service organisations; OR

HKCEE level 2/ Grade E or above in �ve subjects including Chinese and English language with at least 2 years relevant work experience; OR

Mature students of at least 21 years of age with 3 years relevant work experience

Medium of InstructionEnglish supplemented with Cantonese, assessments will be conducted in English
