With 130 locations across the state, TAFE NSW tailors qualifications to meet the needs of the local community andspecific student groups (like apprentices, fast-tracked and online students). To make sure this course is the right fit foryou, we will need you to demonstrate that you can meet the additional requirements below.
To successfully complete this course, you will need to have pre-existing technology skills to access and navigate theinternet and be able to create, open and save electronic files.
You need to complete 13 units, BSBWHS201 and BSBITU307 and 11 electives which have been pre-selected afterconsultation with industry to ascertain the skills and knowledge required for the job role.
The expectation is that by enrolling in this qualification you commit to the time frame in which the qualification is beingdelivered. The proposed study schedule will be discussed and an individual training plan will be established. Should youfall behind your agreed schedule you will be required to complete additional work and learning outside scheduled classtime.

STUDY COMMITMENT
This is a part time day, blended course. You will need to attend approximately 9 hours of class, over 2 days a week, for36 weeks. As well as the in-class component, you will need to complete approximately 7 hours of other study per week.
You may also be required to complete approximately 2 hours of additional study each week outside of class hours,including independent study, research, preparation of assessment tasks, learning support and online learning.
A component of this course may be delivered via connected classroom. This is just like a regular classroom, butteachers and students use the latest video conferencing technologies. Your teacher can be in one TAFE location, andyou can join the class from another TAFE location using video conferencing equipment or a mobile device. You will beable to see and talk to your teacher and other students as though they were in the room with you. You will also haveaccess to support to meet your learning needs.

First Qualification Fee
Applies to a student who does not already hold a post-school qualification from any tertiary sector (TAFE, privateprovider or University), and includes any vocational (certificates, Diplomas, Advanced Diplomas) and higher education(degree) qualifications achieved in Australia or overseas previously.
Subsequent Qualification Fee
Applies to a student who already holds one or more post-school qualifications from any tertiary sector (TAFE, privateprovider or University), and includes any vocational (certificates, Diplomas, Advanced Diplomas) and higher education(degree) qualifications achieved in Australia or overseas previously.
Apprenticeship Fee
Eligible apprentices are exempt from fees when undertaking an apprenticeship under the NSW Government's Fee FreeApprenticeship. For apprentices who are not eligible, apprenticeship qualification fees are capped at $2,000.
