Areas covered on this programme include: > Using and maintaining small plant and equipment > Use and care of hand held power tools > Knowledge of soil, earthworks and water > Temporary traffic management > Knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation on civil construction sites > Knowledge of loaders, graders and scrapers > Wheels, rollers and tracks endorsements > First aid certificate > Heavy vehicle care and use At the completion of this programme, graduates can seek work in the following: > Building > Drainlaying > Truck driving, or as a > Tradesperson FURTHER STUDY OPTIONS Once you have completed the Certificate in Civil Construction Introductory Skills you will have the confidence to take on further study options.
