About Conference:Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh while addressing at the National Communal Harmony Awards function on September 20th, 2013 reiterated that “we belong to a country which is characterised by great diversity. Centre for Educational and Social Development in association with Nehru Yuva Kendra, Pune have organised a National Conference on the theme “Role of Teachers in Promoting National Integration, Peace and Sustainable Communal Harmony”.

Education has the ability to lift our mind and it widens our perception of life and teachers’ can sensitize and mould the country's youth through the common cultural heritage. The conference has been organised with the objective, to assess and

strengthen the role of teachers in promotion of national integration, Peace and Sustainable Communal Harmony.

“Role of Teachers in Promoting National Integration, Peace and Sustainable Communal Harmony”This conference shall be forum for exchange, interaction, dialogues amongst academicians, researchers, social activists and policymakers to present their views and ideas. Discussions will lead to find solutions to challenges confronting various issues relating to National Integration, Peace and Sustainable Communal Harmony.

Call for Papers : Authors including academicians, researchers, social activists and policymakers are cordially invited to present, show-case, and discuss their experiences and challenges in the field of National Integration, Peace and Sustainable Communal Harmony.

Paper Submission:Authors should electronically submit full paper in MS WORD document, 5 pages (2000 – 2200 words maximum) only (Single columns font 10 including pictures and diagrams), to EMAIL: [email protected] only. The first page of the paper must contain the title, names of the author / co-authors, email address and contact details.

Conference Proceedings: All Accepted papers shall be published in a Conference proceeding with ISBN Number and will be released during the valedictory session of the National Conference.

Full Paper Submission 27th January, 2014 The Conference proceedings with ISBN Number will be released during the Inaugural session of the National Conference.

Registration Last Date 1st February, 2014

Late Paper submission: Those Participants who wish to submit research papers after 27th January, 2014 and wish to participate in the conference shall pay the registration fee on the spot at Conference Venue on 9 th February, 2014 or may send Demand Draft on or before 9th February, 2014. They will receive copy of Proceedings only after 10th March, 2014.
