steve PRice, cReative diRectoRSteve Price is a creative director who founded Plan-B Studio in 2000. He specialises in identity design, print and publication, digital, moving image and art direction for print and screen. During the past ten years Steve has worked (and continues to work) with a range of clients that span the fashion, music, PR, film, banking & business sectors and mobile communications companies.

CurrentlyA year after it was originally launched with great success and rapid growth Steve is working on a cosmetic restructuring of long-standing client The Shop at Bluebirds web site.

He is working on a complete identity rebrand, web site and communications strategy with Global PR giants, Outside Organisation including a new identity treatment across all comms, a CMS web site, showreel, credentials and company literature.

With Unit9 Steve is working on a huge project for an exclusive, luxury Italian fashion brand as Interactive Director. Responsible for managing a twenty strong team of designers, animators, illustrators, front and backend developers that are based in Brazil, Italy and the UK. The project includes a fully interactive, experiential, e-commerce flash web site, mobile site, e-commerce app (iPad, iPhone and Android). The role also requires Steve to direct 16 short films shot on location in Italy, Peru and Mongolia.

Steve is consulting as creative director and designer on a very exciting new brand identity, web site, interior and literature project for a new chain of Peruvian restaurants.

Writers BlogSteve is a keen writer with two (as yet) unfinished novels and a screenplay he also blogs, www.designweak.com, as well as being a regular contributor to various design magazines, web sites and the D&AD.

He regularly lectures and teaches at various design schools including Ravensbourne, Nottingham Trent University, Central Saint Martins, KHiB Arts Academy (Bergen), Hyper Island and KBU (Malaysia).

Project10Since January 2010 Steve created Project10; a platform to donate some of his time each month to working on, for and with good causes as well as creating and promoting other collaborations with like-minded souls. Project10 is the reason Steve and Matthew know each other; we met out of a common interest and natural migration to further collaboration and creative exploration.

Since embarking on this initiative Steve has produced a range of projects for a varying array of people including:

- A canvas as part of his response to a call for entries to a book called Memories; a collection of creative responses accompanying prose that celebrate the memories of lost loved ones to cancer.

- Directing and producing a new music video (currently in pre-production) for an up-and-coming band; The Van Doos.

- Designing and organising A Poster for Jack. Steve tapped his contacts and managed to get the printing of a screenprint and paper all donated. They are selling for 25 each from www.plan-bstudio.com

- An annual report for the London Community Resource Network. Steve designed and art directed a 12page newspaper for the charity.

- A web site to support and promote a forthcoming exhibition called Joy of Living for award winning, design writer Max Fraser.

- On the board as Creative director consultant for a project called The ACE Club; think summer fetes meets caravans meets with a difference.

- A logo and branding for a building restoration project in the North Norwegian Arctic.

- Consulting with a new charity called Bidna Capoeira who use the capoeira dance technique to rehabilitate traumatised and marginalised children. Bidna Capoeira work with education/health/benefits of sports amongst other areas as well as collaborating with artists, psychologists, and other organisations already on the ground.
