Features:
• Each kit contains: - 1 sensor - 660 feet of plastic optical fiber (CFS-LW660) - 50 metal “eye” bolts (CFS-BOLT) - 2 FSMA connectors (CFS-FSMA)
* Note: Termination kit required (CFS-TKIT)
Description: As copper prices increased over the past few years, the occurrence of copper theft increased as well. The CFS-AC2KIT kit provides protection for up to 5 air conditioning units installed on a rooftop over a maximum distance of 300 feet. The kit includes 660 feet of plastic optical fiber that is secured to the air conditioning units using the 50 metal “eye” bolts provided. An alarm is triggered when the plastic fiber loop is cut or bent in an attempt to open the air conditioning units. This kit is designed to offer enhanced security due to the higher sensitivity of the sensor that can detect cutting, bending or excessive motion of the plastic optical fiber.
