Navin H Shah is the Chairman and Managing Trustee of the Lotus Eye Hospital,

Juhu. He takes keen interest in social and charitable work and is continuously

striving to attain higher standards of excellence. Under his dynamic and visionary

leadership, the Hospital has made an impact on the community. He believes in

employing competent doctors and up-to-date medical equipments and giving equal

treatment to the rich and poor patients alike.

Navin H Shah hails from a reputed industrialist's family who were the pioneers

in the manufacture of Aluminum Utensils in India. After graduating in Electrical

Engineering, he joined his family business.

He was the President of the All India Non-ferrous Metals Industries Association for

twenty successive years. He was the President of Rotary Club of Bombay Mid-Town

in 1997-1998. He was the Ex-President and member of the Executive Committee of

Sangit Kala Kendra, a well known cultural organization in Mumbai. He was the

Chairman of the reputed and elite The Willingdon Sports Club in Mumbai for five

successive years.

and development of the Lotus Eye Hospital, Juhu.

About Us

Founded in the year 1971 by the renowned economist Late Shri Manu Subedar who was himself suffered from an impaired vision. Lotus Eye Hospital, Juhu is a Non- Profit Charitable Hospital which has been accredited by ISO certification. The Hospital has set up a clear goal for eradicating Visual Impairments and taken initiatives to reach each strata of the society with quality eye care at affordable cost.

Lotus Eye Hospital, Juhu is manned by highly qualified and dedicated team of Ophthalmologists, Optometrists and trained Medical and Para-Medical staff. The Hospital is equipped with state of the art medical equipments of reputed brands and carries out numerous eye care treatments and procedures. The Hospital remains linked to high ethical standards and is presently treating over a lac patient in O.P.D. and performing about 5,000 surgeries annually.

The Hospital has well equipped specialty clinics like Cataract, Glaucoma, Cornea, Pediatric Ophthalmology, Retina, Oculoplasty etc which are manned by specialist doctors. It also has a LASIK Centre which is equipped with ALCON'S latest and most advanced WaveLight Ex500 Excimer Laser which provides the world's fastest and safest technology for an advanced LASIK procedure.

The Hospital strives to promote and provide superior patient care for the treatment and prevention of blindness diseases through its regular community outreach programmes which help the people belonging to the weaker sections who are living in relatively distant or less accessible location of Maharashtra.

The Hospital has set up its Pediatric ward in association with ORBIS International for screening and treating children with eye disorders in the slum areas of Mumbai.

We are also attached with the Lotus College of Optometry which was established in the year 2000, by Late Shree Naval P. Baliwalla, as Mumbai's first four year degree program in Optometry. .

Monday to Saturday 08:30 am to 05:30 pm

Sunday 10:00 am to 12:30 pm

Our out-patient services work on all days except on festivals.

In Patient Department (IPD)

We offer State of Art facilities and have fully equipped operation theatres with latest technology and dedicated medical experts. We also have a septic operation theater for infective cases. In-patient facilities include 50 beds, which consists of single and double occupancy and general wards.
