On the first floor is a spacious and comfortable reception room, dining room, library, kitchen and adjoining breakfast room plus an entertainment/music/games room. Upstairs is the master bedroom with en suite bathroom, two further bedrooms, a bathroom and office.

The chalet's many facilities include a lift to all floors, an exercise room, hammam with shower and WC and a fitted ski room. The property has a wine cellar, plentiful storage areas, three technical rooms, laundry, larder and prep room. There is a lift to all floors and direct access to the underground garage.

Construction

The chalet has been built using old wood internally and externally with traditional shutters and a stone tiled roof. Bathrooms are in stone sourced from Italy with luxurious fittings including Volevatch taps. For energy efficiency and comfort, the chalet has underfloor heating and hidden radiators throughout. There are large balconies and terraces to enjoy the wonderful mountain views. The extensive landscaped gardens feature a fitted BBQ and outside lighting.

Facilities

The chalet's many facilities include a lift to all floors including the underground garage, an exercise room, hammam with shower and WC and a fitted ski room. There is a wine cellar, plentiful storage areas, three technical rooms, laundry, larder and prep room.

Chalet Le Picotin

The independent but adjoining Chalet Le Picotin can also be used as the perfect guest house. There is a welcoming open plan living area and kitchen, a master bedroom, family bedroom with bunk beds and a mezzanine level bedroom. There are two bathrooms, a guest WC, ski room, separate laundry and boiler room. The chalet is finished to the same high quality and standard as Chalet Le Sittelle.

The beautiful mountain resort of Verbier in the Four Valleys is the in-place for homeowners who want to ski hard and party harder. Verbier mixes up picture-pretty wooden chalets and contemporary penthouses, refined clubs and joyfully edgy new hotels.   Verbier is a true year-round resort with hiking trails, mountain bike paths and a packed sporting and cultural calendar for the summer. In winter however it is above the village on Verbier’s highly prized steep slopes that the real daytime action happens.   This is Switzerland’s largest ski area, a proper, hard-wired Alpine resort where a south-facing bowl provides a satisfying tangle of blue and red pistes, several infamous black runs and unforgettable off-piste skiing. Descend the legendary Bec des Rosses, free ride through the Vallon d’Arby or ski as a family on the forgiving slopes through the trees to La Tzoumaz.   As night falls the focus moves into the village centre. Après-ski evenings often start at Hotel Farinet, Mont Fort Pub or Le Rouge and end at the Casbah or legendary Farm Club where royalty and celebrities party with seasonaires.

La Tinte is also known as Little Sweden and runs from just above Medran all the way to the forest. It is a high and particularly sunny part of Verbier with wonderful views over the Aiguilles du Midi peaks in the winter and St Christophe’s Cross in the summer. Homes are mostly mid to large detached chalets, some lining the main piste down to Medran. La Tinte’s few homes are some of the most in demand in Verbier but rarely come on to the open market.
