Both totals are records for Chambers in the state of Tennessee which have participated in the program, while ranking second all-time nationally, trailing only Springfield, Mo., totals of 475 members and $201,691. “is was an awesome event that turned out better than we imagined,” said Bryan Daniels, Blount Partnership president and CEO. “e enthu- siasm from everyone was really electric and contagious. Each session got better and better while the teams competed tirelessly to outdo one another. Pie in the FaceEver wanted to throw a pie in the face of an

elected official? Now’s your chance at “Pigs & Politics” Legisla-

tive Day, sponsored by AT&T Premier and NOVA Copy, held Tuesday, July 31 from 4-7 p.m. at Alumni Gym on the Maryville College campus. This is a chance for local and state politicians to mingle in a summer pig roast setting with the business community – no speeches, just a lot of BBQ, beverages and networking. Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for children under 18 with groups of 10 being $100 and available by phone at 865.983.2241 or at the Chamber office.
