INTRODUCTION

CHAMIS CONSTRUCTION (Pty) Ltd was established in 2015 by coming out of CHAMIS GROUP (Pty) Ltd of highly skilled employees with years of on hand experience for the sole purpose of forming a small and highly skilled Civil engineering and Township Construction company specialising in Life Style Estate, Road Building construction. CHAMIS CONSTRUCTION in 2014 has signed a contract for machinery with Liugong Machinery, in 2015 with Laurens Coetzer (LCA Architects) and 2015 Galencia Property as partners.

CAHMIS CONSTRUCTION Company is situated in other countries like Angola, Cote D’Ivoire, Ghana, Nigeria, Tanzania and Swaziland; we operate as internationally as well as nationally, North-West Province and Eastern Cape of South Africa. We are always available with the necessary skills, knowledge and equipment to meet any requirement in the field of general construction, civil construction, mechanical construction and electrical engineering. Safe working conditions are a very high priority to us not only for our employees, but also for our customers. This not only enables us to deliver a dynamic and professional service to our customers, but also gives the client the assurance that their interest is served by members and staff personally to complete projects on time and to the required quality standards. CHAMIS CONSTRUCTION was formed by PETER VAN DER MAN ABEDY the Owner and Chairman who his company has combined experience in general construction, civil construction, mechanical construction, electrical engineering and consulting services. While our years of experience and expertise as building contractors mean we can tackle even the largest contacts with complete confidence, we are also equally adept at handling the smallest jobs. Nevertheless, no matter how big or small the project, our customers are rest assured that it will be completed on time, within their budget and to the satisfaction of even the most exacting clients.

6. CIVIL ENGINEERING

6.1 We specialize in water related Civil Construction. To this end, the company is able to employ its vast experience for rural or urban community water supply. We are well experienced in the construction of pipelines of various dimensions and pipes of up to two meters in diameter have been worked on.

6.2 We are able to do any general maintenance on pipelines like the changing and repair as well as pressure testing of various types of valves, installation and changing of flow meters, air valves, etc.

7. MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

7.1 We have access to a fully equipped engineering workshop with highly skilled personnel to meet all your engineering needs.

7.2 We are able to remove and or install any type of pump. We also have the ability to refurbish defective pumps of any type.

7.3 Fully trained and qualified staff can attend to repairs and maintenance of diesel driven equipment such as lighting plants and earthmoving equipment.

7.4 Our staff is well experienced in the maintenance of conveyors and affiliated plants and machinery and is fully experienced in the maintenance of roller mills.

7.5 We specialize in corrosion protection.

7.6 Mechanical maintenance on all dams in the provinces of Limpopo, North-West and Mpumalanga is an on-going activity in the Company

8. ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

8.1 Full suite of Electrical Consulting Services from concept design, detailed design and Preparation of specification and drawings.

8.2 Electrical Project Management and construction Management inclusive of Commissioning Service.

8.3 Planning, surveying and erecting of ESCOM lines, transformers and meter boxes. Both three Phase and single phase.

8.4 We are currently making use of a Master electrician employed

by CHAMIS CONSTRUCTION.

9 CONSTRUCTION AND CONTRACTING SERVICES

We provide full contracting and construction services in Mechanical, Civil and Electrical infrastructure services. Turnkey project services inclusive of consulting services. These services include:

9.1 Construction and/or rehabilitation of water pipelines from 15mm up 1200mm

9.2 Construction and/or rehabilitation of irrigation canals.

9.3 Construction and rehabilitation of sewage works Supply, construction, erection, rehabilitation and maintenance of concrete, PVC and pressed steel panel water reservoirs.

9.4 Erection and equipping of all PVC and steel water tanks with tank stands

9.5 Manufacture and installation of concrete or steel manholes

9.6 Pump rooms which include: Precast concrete pump rooms. Galvanized pump rooms

9.7 General building of:

Enviro loo's (Environmentally Friendly Toilets)

Distribution boxes, borehole panel, manufacturing and installation from 0.5 KW up to 250 KW. House wiring Installation and maintenance of generators, 5 KVA up to 650 KVA COC certificates. Both three phase and single phase issued upon completion of installations COC certificates for hazardous areas. We are currently making use of a Master electrician employed by CHAMIS Construction.

10. DRILLING AND GEO-CONSULTING

10.1 Drilling and Equipping of new boreholes

Electrical, including starter panels (DOL and Star Delta) for submersible, positive displacement and booster pumps from 0.5 KW up to 250 KW done to Department of Water affairs standards. COC certificate provided. Diesel engines with mono pumps. Positive displacement pumps with Lister engines from TR 1 to TR 3. Service and repair of all diesel and petrol engines.

10.2 Rehabilitation of boreholes.

Cleaning of bore hole with Jumper Drilling Rig and fishing for old pumping equipment. Replacing of old or non-functional equipment and scientifically yield testing and water quality of boreholes. Yields tested from 0.01L to 50L per second. 10.3 De-Watering of Mines

10.4 The following services are offered, all conforming to accepted specifications laid down by the Department of Water affairs and Forestry. Slug testing Calibration testing Borehole casing detection Stepped discharge testing Constant discharge testing ( up to 40 l/s) Recovery test Removal and

installation of all existing pump equipment Evaluation of existing equipment Evaluation of existing boreholes regarding depth, water level and casting depth Collection of water samples of analysis and evaluation Hydro geological census and napping

11 COMPANY STRUCTURE

12.1 Staff: CHAMIS CONSTUCTION Construction employs skilled personnel, who are committed to provide excellent service and incorporates professional individuals with experience in the Electrical, Civil and Mechanical Engineering disciplines.

12.2 Equipment: We have a range of Vehicles and Plant Equipment available to our disposal. When not in use on contracts, we make our equipment available for hire. The following equipment is at our disposal:

12.3 As a result of our activities expanding throughout the whole country and neigh boring countries, we have decided to purchase an airplane to save costs on our travelling due to site visits and transporting personnel from one site to the other. We maintain the aircraft according to standards laid down by civil aviation. In addition, because of this we make this aircraft available for charters services when not in use.
