Car Wash at Christ the King! Next Sunday, July 27th, Christ the King
will be having an all-day car wash. All
the proceeds will go to the church.
Living for Others: The Challenge & Promise of Peace
There are many challenges to peace now, including Ukraine, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and the Central Af-rican Republic. This year’s Living for Others retreat (August 11-13) will explore what Catholic Relief Ser-vices (CRS) and others are doing to build peace around the globe. You will also learn how Catholic social teaching has developed since Vatican II, Includ-ing the latest from Pope Francis. They keynote speak-er will be Maryann Cusimano Love, Ph.D., Associate Professor of International Relations at Cath-olic University of America.
