There will be one loop of about 800 meters for little legs (four and under), and a more challenging loop of about two kms for those five and older. Our biggest need for volunteers is on-course marshals who can keep kids safe and on the right trail. A total of 15 to 20 marshals will be required. Marshals are asked to meet beside the park play structure at 9 a.m. for a brief meeting and a walk to their race position. Race begins at 9:45-ish, KST. (Kids Standard Time.) One marshal will be nominated as the “sweep” and follow the last runner through the course. Kids are encouraged to wear costumes (something easy to run in!) It’s Halloween. It’s spooky......... Run, kids, run!

There is no evening Halloween party this year, but the annual Fun Run is all set to go. It has proven to be very popular with neighbourhood kids. The route will take runners through a wooded trail between Champlain Park and the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway.

There will be one loop of about 800 meters for little legs (four and under), and a more challenging loop of about two kms for those five and older.

Our biggest need for volunteers is on-course marshals who can keep kids safe and on the right trail. A total of 15 to 20 marshals will be required.
