Our biggest strength is that we are located in Chanderi and working towards the upliftment of Chanderi weavers community through technological interventions. Our staff members are weavers themselves , and have been trained to use IT tools like Gmail, Facebook , Excel , Internet . We provide a platform for any single weaver or weaver collective (SHG's , cooperatives, producer companies) to produce and sell their products through our portal, while we give them design inputs and handling supply chain, sales and marketing. In this way we can ensure products standardization, design variety , brand promotion and scalability of the business.

Chanderiyaan is a platform to share the brilliance of craftsmanship of the Chanderi weavers in District Ashok Nagar of M.P. Chanderiyaan is a digital window to showcase the magic and beauty of Chanderi weaving in its multifaceted hues to the world outside. It is a platform to share the richness of weaving and design patterns evolved through many centuries in this weaving town with its own historical dynamics and stories to reveal.

Chanderiyaan is serving to meet the demand and supply chain for the unique Chanderi weaving products. This platform of the weavers, for the weavers and by the weavers, is managed by a network of weavers self-help groups through a common platform – Chanderi Weavers Resource Integrated Resource Centre(CWIRC), which is an initiative of Digital empowerment Foundation & Media Lab Asia with support of Dept. of Electronics & IT, MCIT, GOI.

Through Chanderiyaan, one will find customised designer fabrics for apparels and home fashion including sarees , salwar suits, stoles, dupattas and scarfs, kurtis, table clothes and curtains. You will find in Chanderiyaan, zari-web work that weaves an exotic ethnic vibrancy.

We bring to you pure natural Cottons and lustrous Silks and Silk woven with Cotton with delicate zari work in bright colours. We have fabrics for all occasions and fashion sensibilities.We enjoy being recognized

as the promoters of the beautiful handlooms of Chanderi and presenting to it to the global upmarket consumers.

Chanderiyaan is a social entrepreneurial initiative towards escalating the sustainability levels and livelihood of the chanderi weavers community. Chanderiyaan is an opportunity for weavers to bypass the hefty network of master weavers and sell their creations directly in the global market.
