Mayor Hartke - Thanks to the DV Commission. The city will be recognizing the Commissions on February 20, at the Chandler Center for the Arts along with the delivery of the State of the City Address. Five Platform pieces will be discussed: innovation and technology, infrastructure, mobility and transportation, high quality neighborhoods and quality of life. Biggest challenge is looking at how to move the dial for our community, how will these things make the cost of living more affordable, or ease of service, or doing business in Chandler. Affordable housing is a tough dynamic. Housing is getting more difficult to afford. We are looking at different types of options for housing. Aquatic Centers are not able to expand hours at the current time, partially due to the workforce staffing. Chandler School District is planning a new high school at Gilbert/Ocotillo Roads, and are in planning works for another elementary school. The City has someone working with the School District to address traffic issues for the planned locations. We working together, trying to get financing to get more School Resource Officers into the schools. The schools are working on issues of suicide prevention, bullying, safety, etc.

Nicole Jastrab - survivor, mother of four. Appreciates the Board's work and time for domestic violence. Singers were wonderful. Suggest to have various age speakers for next year. Ms. Jastrab requested to be placed on the agenda to speak at the November meeting.

4. ACTION ITEMS -None.
