This lovely historic black and white cottage is believed to date back to the mid-1600's. It was extended in the 1930's and now has extensive accommodation which is full of character, exposed beams and other original features. Marston is a little hamlet which is surrounded by some of the most beautiful countryside in North Herefordshire. It has exposed wall and ceiling timbers. A second staircase leads to two connecting bedrooms. Both have ceilings rising into the apex of the roof and also a wealth of exposed beams. The adjoining barn is timber built and has huge potential for development, subject to necessary planning permission. Directions

Proceed out of Ludlow via Ludford Bridge and turn right onto the Richards Castle road. Carry on through Richards Castle and Orleton and follow the signs to Presteigne. Just before Bircher village turn left and carry on into Kingsland. Take the next turning left and turn right opposite Leominster Car Auctions. Take the next right and follow the signs to Eardisland and Pembridge. Carry on through Pembridge, look out for the Water Gardens and take the next right turn signposted Marston. Carry on into the village and Chapel Cottage is on the left hand side.
