Introduce Objectives and ask students how they use word processing programs (Classroom discussion).

Review the Word screen and show students the icons and screens. Complete Word Processing –Pre Assessment- See http://www.proprofs.com/quiz-school/story.php?title=microsoft-word-pretest-part-1 or go to Teacher Website If possible, complete the exercise on your own computer with the window projected

on a screen so that the students can follow along in the exercises. (See Word Windows )

Introduce and discuss Word Processing by using ICT DigiTools Book pages 151-153 practicing part of the Word user interface

Have students to read pages 2-5 and complete key terms on page 2 in their notebook.(See Handout)

Teacher will introduce Unit 1 Reinforcement Lessons in Edu Typing Lesson 1.1 and 1.2 Home-row Review

Have students to begin Unit 1 Reinforcement Lesson in Edu Typing Keyboarding Lessons 1.1 and 1.2-at their pace-Differentiated Lessons

Wrap up lesson with a review using exit ticket question. Homework: Create sentences with key terms ( 5 key terms nightly)
