• Health care professional – Specializes in preventing, recognizing,

managing and rehabilitating injuries that result from physical activity

The Athlete

• Responsible for carrying out instructions given to him or her by the doctor, the trainer, and/or the coach

• Any injury during play must be reported to the coach and athletic trainer

major injury occurs to their minor child
