One of Qatar’s famous monuments is the “Rise Through Education” monument in Doha,

Qatar. It was finished on March 8, 2012, and designed by Lorenzo Quinn. Qatar’s

National Anthem is called asSalām alAmīrī. A quote from Qatar's national anthem is

“Qatar will always be free, Elevated by the spirits of the loyal, Follow the path of the

ancestors, And the prophet's guidance. In my heart, Qatar is an epic of dignity and

glory”. The language of Qatar is Arabic, but many people speak English as well.

Britain’s Population is 64.1 million as of 2013. In 2015 36.115 people visited the great

composed by Thomas Arne. Here’s a quote

from their National anthem “. “God save our

gracious Queen ! Long live our noble Queen!

God save the Queen! Send her victorious,

Happy and glorious, Long to reign over us,

God save the Queen. O Lord our God arise, Scatter her enemies

And make them fall; Confound their politics, Frustrate their knavish tricks, On Thee our

hopes we fix, God save us all!

The monument is 25 metres high. The central monument, created between 1906 and

1924, is by Sir Thomas Brock, but the whole design, including the Memorial Gardens,

was conceived by Sir Aston Webb. The Memorial was formally unveiled by King George

V in 1911.
