Main Events▪ Fishing:
– Intelligent fisherman is catching fish, but wants to catch more than he needs– Intelligent Fisherman trades less intelligent fisherman his spot for 1 day for 5
fish– After success, the intelligent fisherman begins to trade 200 days worth of food
(10*10*10 fish / 5 daily) for rights to other fisherman’s plot(s)– Three intelligent fishermen emerge as owners of all the fishing– The fishermen begin to hire the unemployed for less than what is needed to
sustain life (2 fish/day)– The fishermen have more than they need and fish begin to rot– The tribal chiefs create a welfare system in trade with the fish chiefs to
support the tribe with minimal sustenance– The tribe has enough fish, but people go hungry
▪ Similar structures develop with antelope and bear along the way▪ A demented man cries out for the ways to go back to everyone
fishing for themselves, but is silenced▪ A teacher wonders why we can’t teach our students how to solve
the situation, but is told that she can teach how to think, not what to think
