Introduction and Organization of Reports

The Name and the Description define the data shown in the Report

Each Report is identified by a code / short name and by a description to provide guidance concerning the kind of data that it contains (e.g. in terms of accounts or proposed Scenarios) and its detail both in terms of periods / years displayed and in terms of dimensions of analysis or Intercompany details. For Example:

• the “ICO” coding indicates the presence of Intercompany details;

• the “Monthly” coding indicates the presence of a Monthly detail of Period dimension;

• the “GEO” coding indicates the presence of the Custom3 detail related to the Geographical Areas;

• “CY” means “current year”;

• “PY” means “previous year”.

Preview User POV: Database Connection Field

After launching the Reports saved into the “Check HFM Fraustat – Reporting” folder, the “PreviewUser POV” window also contains the “Database Connection” field.By clicking on its drop-down list you should select “All” if you would like to set the same dimensionsbelow for both the HFM Reporting and Fraustat (Statutory) applications / database connections. You

can use this option if their parameters correspond to each other. In this case you do not need toselect them for the individual database connection.Otherwise, if the two applications currently use different dimensions, you have to set them separatelyfor each Database Connection (“REPORTING” and “STATUTORY”).

Note: In the Statutory you have to select the single month as “Period” dimension (not the entirequarter or half year).

For example, the “TECH.001-Poltrona Frau Spa” Legal Entity available in the HFM Reporting application corresponds to the “001-Poltrona Frau SpA” of the HFM Fraustat application. So if you need to compare them with, you should select the first one as “Entity” dimension for the “REPORTING” database connection and then the second one as “Entity” dimension for the “STATUTORY” database connection. Note: In the Statutory you have to select the single month as “Period” dimension (not the entire

quarter or half year).
