Job Queue Window

Definition: 0/COM refers to Digital Communications in Medicine.

The Job Queue w indow (figure 9-l) allows you to check the progress of

filming, media storage, DICOM, post-processing, and spectroscopy analysis

tasks. Access the window through one of the following methods:

Cl ick the Job Queue button, which is displayed at the end of the Launcher

Toolbar. The Job Queue button only appears when performing a function listed

in the Job Queue window (fi lming, media storage, DJCOM, post processing, or

spectroscopy analysis). W hen the button is active, it will be d isplayed with a

solid green circle.

OR

~ Click the Job Queue Launcher button on the Launcher Tool bar. The Job Queue

Launcher button only appears if the toolbar has been customized. Refer to the

Launcher Buttons section of Chapter 3, System Overview, for complete

Launcher Toolbar customizing details.

The Job Q ueue window opens, as shown in figure 9-1, with five tabs displayed:

Filming, Media, DICOM, Post Processing, and Spectroscopy Analysis. The tab

that is currently active and the information it displays corresponds to the

function that the system is currently performing. Each tab lists a ll jobs in the

queue for that process. In figure 9-1 , the Med ia tab has been selected and the media storage jobs are listed.

- System-Contains the standard Hitachi protocols for the Oas is MRI

System. The protocols and tasks in the System Directory cannot be changed

or deleted.

- User-Contains the protocols and tasks that have been developed fo r your

facility.

• Anatomical Region ! -Shows folders for general anatomical regions such as

Head and Neck, Spine and Upper Extremity.

• Anatomical Region 2-Shows folders for specific anatomical regions such as

Brain, Orbits, and Sinus for the Head and Neck region.

• Protocol/Task-Shows protocols or tasks for each anatomical region, as

A Caution Do not allow the magnet's helium level to fall below 40 percent. At percentages

below this level, the magnet could quench, resulting in the loss of the

superconductive state and remaining cryogens. Failure to comply with this limit

could result in equipment damage or extended downtime.
