Character Biography
Middle or End Write a biography of the main character in the
book. It should be at least 2-3 paragraphs long. Make sure you describe the person in detail, including what their personality is and what they look like. Use the evidence from the text to prove your statements.

Comprehension Questions
Middle or EndYou must create 4 good comprehension
questions for your chapter book. They should be questions that require an explanation for an answer.
Then, you must answer these questions in detail, using evidence from the text.

Letters
Middle or EndYou need to write two letters. Each letter
should be from the POV of a different character. In other words, you should pretend you are each character.
Each letter must refer to events or characters in the book, so you can show your understanding of the book.
The letter can be written to another character or to someone else entirely.

EndPretend you are the author of the novel. Write
an article for a magazine, outlining the story and telling why you wrote it. Give your article an interesting headline and include some drawings.

Character Interview
Middle or EndChoose a character. Write a set of questions
that could be used to interview the person. Make them open-ended. In other words, write them so that the character’s answer is an explanation.
After that, you must pretend you’re the character and answer the questions in detail.
