From the CD It’s been an interesting month. Still trying to learn all the GWRRA ways of

life. John and I rode down to the CA-1C’s rally in Covina and we met

Ralph and Robynn there. We had a nice ride down. Took a few back roads

but not too many. Going over the Grapevine towards Lancaster exit I for

some reason listened to my GPS and took the exit before the main exit.

The DIRT road that paralleled the freeway was nice, but I had the wrong

bike for that. The roads were great and not like the LA traffic as I was

trying to get to a business meeting in Fontana. Which I didn’t make. After

a couple of hours of nice riding we gave up on my Drunk GPS and went back to reality. Note to self the 210 on a Friday

night at 5PM sucks. The rally was fun even though we bombed on the raffle. We usually do pretty good. Good lunch and

the Gold Angels preformed which was always fun to watch. Bert’s Mega Mall is huge. Just ask Robynn as she did the

scavenger hunt. Its fun going to Rallies and I am starting to make friends with some of the other Chapters.

Douglas and I are going down to San Diego in 2 weeks for the CA-1F Rally. If anyone is interested in going please let me

know. Douglas is going down Friday early am and I’m not sure for me since I still need to make a meeting down there.

4 of us rode down to Wool Growers this morning. It was a good ride down there and with a few unimproved roads to

make us appreciate the other roads. We had 13 for Lunch and everyone enjoyed the food and comradery. Patti’s and

Sal’s dogs are getting some leftovers also. Pictures will be up on Facebook tonight. GWRRA Chapter CA2S.

If anyone has done any Motorcycle awareness anything, please let me know so I can send that in.

The District is starting keep track of events and rides etc. to give out points = $’s. Bob and Donna can explain it at the

Gathering. This is for individual and chapters.

Updates T-Shirt update. Polo’s will be getting ordered this week. T-Shirts will be later because we need to order a lot of extra’s

for the price. Will talk about it at the Chapter Gathering.

New website is up BUT it’s a work in progress as of now. http://gwrra-ca2s.org/. I’m open to any suggestions to make it

better or what is important for you to see.
