CHAPTER ONE

The Future is Now

The fever pitch in the evolutionary process is not some-thing th at is bui lding for the futu re . Wh eth er we real ize i t ornot. the new Millennium is already upon us.I t is not some-thing to come, bu t som ething that a l ready is! We have beenwaiting for the New Age of Light and Love-and it 's here, allaround us, right now! It took place with the splitt ing of thea t o m !

Think about i t ! In the atom we found the solar system inminia ture , a nd in this Age of Aquarius we wil l explore the farreaches of th e universe. We also saw th e mirror of ou r soul-the positive, negative and neutral particles representing ourconsciousness, and the nucleus or center core correspondingto th e indwell ing C hris t or spir i tual nucleus within each indi-vidual. Out er space an d Inner Space-all revealed in thesmallest par t ic le of mat ter, and then we took the great leapforward. By splitt ing th e at om an d releasing its energy, we lit-erally pen etrated the veil . We moved thro ug h the last frontierof materiality and into t he new world of spirituality.

W ith this new awareness , und erstan ding an d knowledge ofthe atom and the releasing of its energy. a new vibration inconsciousness encircled the planet and the door to th e Aqu ar-ian Age was f lung wide ope n. The New Age had begun! Andin this New Age t he tr ue secrets of the ato m will be revealed.

may be called The Second Coming.It should be obvious what the third phase is all about. The

word inauguration comes from latin inazlgzlrate which meansto give sanctity to a place or official person. Does that meantha t Jesus himself is retu rning, an d tha t this stage will usherin his reign as Lord of the world in physical form? Or does itmean the "externalization" of the Hierarchy of Spiritual Mas-

ters? Or does it mean that the sense of separation will behealed an d tha t each one of us will awaken fully to t he Truthof our being- that the Higher Self of each individual is theChrist? Perhaps all three happenings and experiences willoccur . . . at different intervals of time.

Dr. Jay Franssen, president of the Omega Foundation,says: "All humanity is infected with the concept of evolutionand although people of different backgrounds interpret theevents differently , there remains a growing feeling of animpending 'something' about to break forth into the stage ofhuman events. From everywhere . . . from religious funda-mentalists to science fiction fans with their extraterrestrials,

star wars and star treks . . . to the advanced thinkers of evolu-tion . . . there is an earnest expectation of making 'contact'with a higher dimension of being. 'The astrologers, seers, andpredicters of the f utur e have been fervently aligning themsel-ves through occult practices to gain insight into this greatmystery, while the more fundamental and traditional aspi-rants of religion have sought more subtle and conservativemethod s by an d throu gh which to achieve the same informa-tion . T he Bible (t ha t great Book of ALL books) itself seems tobe full of both dynamic and subtle directives admonishingman to PREPARE HIMSELF for the great event of the lastdays, which undoubtedly make reference to the next greatquantum leap forward in the evolutionary scheme of thingson a cosmic scale!

"To the very literalist, the Christ is going to return in thebody and person of Jesus, while from a metaphysical (spirit -ual) point of view, we might very well describe the return ofChrist as a new ENERGY FIELD which will seed human con-sciousness causing it to become the Christ individualized.

try of the participant.Regarding the Hour of Oneness on December 31, we did

not anticipate mass gatherings at particular locations. How-ever, many found that g roup participation greatly multiplie dthe power and provided the opportunity to create a greaterperception of the Event. Others felt more comfortable in afamily gathering, or alone in communion with Spirit.

Regardless of your preference, we ask that you spend at leastone full hour in the healing meditati on-and then remain ina peaceful, joyous and loving consciousness throughout theday.

We had felt tha t t he period leading up to 1987 would be atime of Preparation. Then from 1987 on, we would embarkon a three-phase program of (1 ) Construct ion, ( 2 ) Consolida-t ion , and (3) Inauguration. As I see it now, the Preparationphase will continue on a certain level as a part of the cleans-ing process. At the same time, and beginning in 1987, theLight Bearers will commence the stage of Construct ion.

Consider that construction comes from Latin words mean-

ing building togethex Keep in mind that the massive spirit-ual treatment of the race mind will not automatically pick usall up and d rop us in t he mid dle of the G arde n. We will con-tinue to have our free will, and will remain under the Law ofAttraction, i.e. like attracts like. This means that while theSeekers and Light Bearers will have a common bond as partic-ipants in the Good Will Task Force, there may be others whowill continue to resist based on the illusions of vested inter-ests. Therefore. the continuing work of the Commission willbe to reveal the New World of peace, perfection and spiritualenlighte nment -and to develop a spirit of loving cooperationamong all people, where everyone works for the commongood of all. So in essence, the Construction phase is toreplace illusion' with Reality, competition with cooperation,bringing about a real unity and the concept of true synthesis.

In the Consolidation stage, the emphasis will be onstrengthening the bond of Divine Love that began in theConstruction phase, and it is during this period that man-kind will begin to sense and anticipate, as never before, what

1. Make a dedicated effort to practice and express peace ona daily basis.

What happens i f we don ' t break up the energy mass andthe negative chain reaction eventually goes critical? Well,that doesn ' t m ean that we 'l l a l l go u p in a puff of smoke-but i t does mean that once s tar ted, the negat ive events andcondi t ions on the planet wil l become more pronou nced in anaccelerated t imetable . The t r ibulat ions, spaced out in thepast and providing a sense of relief between events, willbecome l inked together, t r iggering the dom ino effect -withone s i tuat ion s t imulat ing th e next on e in a re la ted cause andeffect sequence.

The en d resu l t? I do no t know. But I d o know that we havea critical opportunity n o w a n d I want to d o everything I canto make the m os t o f i t . We ca n l e t the Kingdom come . . . weca n le t the Wil l of God be do ne on Earth as it i s in Heaven-which means that this world can be t ransformed into a

heaven-r ight now-in the 1980's and 90 's . This is no fan-tasy. This is not science or religious fiction. This is the MainEvent of our ind ividual l ives.

O n January 1 , 1984, we started collecting th e nam es ofthose individuals who desire and c om mit to be a par t of thisplanetary healing group. Since the list will not be used forany other purpose and wil l not be m ade avai lable to anyone,no addresses are required. All we seek is the nam e an d cou n-

Did a sufficient num ber of people participate? From actualcount and from estimates based on communications fromorganizations around the world, we know that more than500-million people were in sapport of the Event. As to thenum ber who actually participated in the W orld He aling Med-itation (see Ap pend ix), we do not have a specific cou nt at thist i m e . H o w e v e r, w e d o k n o w - b a se d o n s i g n e dcommitments- that people representing all major religiousfaiths from 7 7 countries on seven continents in 524 organiza-tions were a part of this hour of global coo peratio n. Peace cer-emonies were held in cities in North and South America,Europe. Asia, Africa, India, and Australia . . . many gover-nors and mayors in the U.S . issued proclamations designatingDecember 31st as World Peace Day . . . and gatherings wereheld all over the world in arenas, stadiums, city parks,churches, temples, ashrams, hotel ballrooms, capitol rotun-das, in forests, on mountains and beaches, and in privatehomes.

What were the results? Like the thawing of a frozen lake inthe spring, it may take time to break the hypnotic spell forthe majority of mankind. But we can already see some of thebeneficial effects, such as the "surprise move" by Sovietleader Mikhail Gorbachev to sign without delay an agree-me nt to remove Soviet and Am erican med ium -rang e nuclearmissiles from E urope . . . the effort by rival militia s in Leba-non to halt 12 years of civil war . . . the report of large gainsin world-wide food stocks which are min imiz ing fam ine in allbut a few isolated pockets of the globe . . . the new break-throughs in science and medicine . . . the lowered crime ratein several metropolitan troublespots . . . and a seemingly

renewed commitment to peace by many of the world's lead-ers. Other effects may not yet be visible, but we can be surethat the spiritual energy released on Dece mber 31,1986 willcontinue to do its mighty work. It was a new beginning forma nki nd, but we cannot stop now -and that's why the Com -mission is an on- goi ng global activity. Wemust achieve a crit-ical mass of Positive Good, and we will if all Commissionmem bers will follow this 3- point plan:

the planet now, prayer has been replaced by either resistanceor futility, giving t he m ass negative energy field a very satisfy-ing die t. An d as the density of th e force field increases, it willreach the p oint where th e darkness exceeds the ligh t, the pos-itive balance is lost, and the negative chain reaction goescritical-and this self-susta ining action was predica ted for1987.

Our objective was obvious. Why not reverse the polarity ofthe force field and achieve a critical mass of positive energy?Why not insure a chain reaction of self-sustaining Good inand around a nd through this plan et? The fact that wecan doit has already been proved in the laboratories. One of themajor universities on the West Coast took the figure of 50-million people with a spiritual consciousness as reported inThe Szlperbeings, and through the use of computers andmeasurements of spiritual energy, made this observation: Ifthese men and women would meditate simultaneously andrelease their energies into the earth's magnetic field, theentire vibration of the planet would begin to ch ange. An d ifthere were no massive and dedicated counter-forces to offsetthe benefits, the problems of mankind such as war, crime,poverty, hunger, and disease would be eliminated. In order to reach the critical mass of spiritual conscious-ness, our objective by December 1986 was to have 500-million people on earth simplyconsenting to a healing of thisplanet and to the reign of spiritual Love and Light in thisworld- ith no less than 50-million meditating at the same

time on December 31, 1986. It was our feeling th at the largergrou?, which would serve as the main body of the Comrnis-sion and represent about ten percent of the global popula-tion , would not only main tain t he negative energy mass in asub-critical state, bu t w ould also begin to break u p t he severeintensity of the "dark pocketsw- thus preparing the collectiveconsciousness for the massive penetration of Light on thefinal day of 1986.

Th e Commission is not l ike any other kind of movem ent .We are not protesting or resisting anything. We're simplyconsent ing to le t t ing Go d be Go d-a nd we are volunteeringto co-create with God in the implementat ion of the DivinePlan -and each one of us, an d for a l l humanity.

To serve as a Light Bearer on the Commission requires nodues. There is no organizational structure. The f i rs t formal announcement of the Commission wasmad e on January 1, 1784 , wi th the idea of bu i ld ing mo me n-tum for an hour of spiritual oneness at IVoon Greenwich,December 31, 1786. Why that par t icular t ime and date?We

chose Noon Greenwich as that hour would encompass allt ime zones around the world du ring the 24-hou r period, giv-ing the s imultaneous Mind-Link ful l impac t . Decem ber 31stwas given duri ng me ditatio n as the d ay representing a certainalignment of energies providing a "window" into the raceconsciousness. And 1986 was designa ted as the year becausewe had been told ( the communicat ions coming from withinand through our monitors in the physical world) that 1787would be the year of thecritical mass .

You see, thro ug ho ut ou r history the mass of dark energy inthe race mind has been subcritical, in that the chain reaction

of negative consequences has not been self-sustaining. Mas-sive prayer during certain periods, such as the long andbloody religious wars of the 1500's, the Great Plague of the17th Century, th e Civil War, two w orld wars, the w orld-wideDepression, in addi t ion to the Light released during theappearance of Spiritual Masters at periodic intervals, pene-trated the darkness. This caused a break in th e chain and pre-vented th e critical mass. But for the majority of th e peop le on

feeding into the collective consciousness of mankind the par-ent thought of insufficiency. And the race mind will alwaysreact accordingly. Based on the law of consciousness, it willcreate still more lack, more limitation, more conditions ofinsufficiency. Mankind, seeing the spiraling effect of thisactivity of negative consciousness, reacts through resistance,and resistance leads to hostility, which leads to scheming and -manipulation to g e t at the expense of his brother, his neigh-bor, the other fellow-members of the planetary community.And this darkened consciousness can do nothing but create-even greater conditions for confusion, conflict and chaos.And the cycle continues, on and on and on.

Can you see now that the very monetary system of thisplanet has become a god to mankind? And can you see howthe worship of this false god has fed the collective conscious-ness with so much negative energy that it is ready to explode?Can you understand why it is written that the love (theproper translation in this verse is "worship") of money is the

root of all evil? Notice thati t

does not say s o m e of the world'sevils. It says ALL evil! And the word "all" means the wholequantity, the whole amount, the total, the utmost possible.So we can trace AI.1. of mankind's problems back to a singleroot: the worship of an effect. When we worship an effect,what are we doing ? We are giving tha t effect power over u s .

We are making it th e Lord our Go d, a nd when we do this. wearc giving up our divine inheritance.

The Planetary ConlmissionWhat can we do? What can y o u do ? Where d o we go from

here? During 1983. Jan and I meditated on these questions

for several months, and we were led to establish a PlanetaryCommission to reverse the focus from materiality to spiritual-ity.

The word "commission" in this case simply means a groupof people appointed to perform a specific duty a n d eachindividual desiring to be a part of the commission must makea definite commitment to do so-and the "appointment" isautomatic with the commitment. All that we asked was for

Futures Network, has said that "the key now to internationaldeve lopment is our image of the future . If we see ourselves asa universal species. co-evolving with nature to a higher stageof being, so it shall be. For as we believe. so it is done to us.-As we see ourselves, so we tend to become."

We can see what we want to become, but we askourselves- "How in the name of God do we get from here tothere?" Well, that's exactly how we get there. In the name ofGod.

Let's remember what God's name is. It is I AM-and theomnipotent I AM is going to take us into the Promised LandIF each orie of us elects to reverse our focus and shift ourminds from a concentration on materiality to a concentrationon spirituality. And don't think for one moment that thisrenewal of our minds is going to mean less of what we call"material good" in our lives. You th ink Solomon was prosper-ous? Just remember tha t he tapped into the Storehouse ofPlenty-the very same one tha t the Father has already giveneach one of us. Also recall that the Bible promises prosperitywithin thy palaces-not your walk-up flats or your govern-ment subsidized houses. The Bible also says that the blessingsof the Lord maketh rich, and that you shall have an all-sufficiency in all things-and tha t the Lord will open unto-you his good treasure, and this "treasure" includes everythingyou could possibly desire or need spiritually, emotionally,mentally arld physically. The whole Kingdom!

But the irony of all this is: we can't have the fullness of thisinfinite good until we stop chasing it. Then it will chase us,and will catch us, and will shower us with so many blessingsthat there will not be room to receive them a ll-un til we

enlarge our capacity to receive. But as long as we are concen-trating on the getting, we are shutting off the givingness ofthe Lord. the Spirit of God, the great I AM within each oneof us.

Understand that when our minds are on God within, weare actually contemplating an ALL-SUFFICIENCY But whenour minds are focused on this world, on lack and limitation -whether in health, wealth or loving relationships-we are

As the Associated Press reported o n January 1,1984: "Perhaps it was those sand-filled d u m p trucks parkedaround the White House on Thanksgiving Day. Probably it

was something else. The Beirut embassy bombing. KALFlight 007. The Marine barracks explosion. The landing onGrenada. Somewhere along the way the world appeared tobecome a more dangerous place in 1983. The crescendo ofviolence reminded Americans of the fraility of coexistence.People were thinking about the unthinkable: a nuclear warwas shown in prim e tim e. Terrorists, with kamikaze zeal, tookaim . A U.S . Embassy blown ap art at lunchtime; 63 de ad . AU.S . Marine encampmen t blown apart on a Sunday morning;241 dead. It was the bloodiest year for American servicemensince Vietnam. At home, the weather slapped at the landwith high surf, heavy snows, mudslides, floods and a hurri-

cane ."

To answer the question- Where do we go from here?"-we have to know where we want to go, and what we want tobe . So let's create the picture of our destination in o ur min ds.Just ima gine a world where there is no conflict-no selfishcompetition- nly loving cooperation. Imagine a world freeof pollution, free of want, free of disease, free of disaster.Imagine a world populated with smiling, laughing, happy,joyous people-all radiantly healthy, all ab un da ntly sup-plied , all loved an d loving. Get th efeel of such a world- u tyourself right in th e m idd le of it. T hink of yourself as filledwith life and energy and vitality, with a body that is strongand vibrant. See yourself surrounded with abundance andenjoying true prosperity. See yourself doing what you lovean d loving what you d o, u nb ou nd an d free. See yourself withthe capacity to embrace and love and serve every single manand w oman on this plan et, regardless of who they are or whatthey have do ne -an d feel th at uncon ditional love radiatingfrom you to all-an d return ing from all to you.

and manifest as lack and limitation in our lives. Through thelaw of attraction, we can bring to us that which we fear themost, and hostility toward our brothers will set up such anegative vibration in our individual energy field that acci-dents, failure, broken relationships and other shatteringexperiences will be drawn directly into our lives.

Now just imagine what 5-biiiion of us could do groupedtogether in an energy field of negative consciousness. Wecould cover the United States in a blanket of cold neverbefore experienced in o ur history. We could s end storms roll-ing over the country to erode beaches, flood farmland andcities, destroy homes and businesses, kill people and causedamages in the billions of dollars. We could pollute ouratmosphere and contaminate the soil to such an extent thatcertain parts of the cou ntry would b e declared federal disasterareas. We could level cities and towns with e arthq uak es. An dwe could stimulate suicide bombers, establish a reign of ter-rorism, and cause such intense distrust between nations with

th e greatest weapon technology that m ost of the world wouldlive in a s tate of panic.

Yes, we could d o all of the abo ve by staging a world-widehate-in, but we really don't have to. We can get the sameresults and create the same kind of havoc on this planet bysimply hypn otizing man into believing that the world of illu-sion is his reality. Instead of relying on God as the only Causeand the only Activity, as the only Presence and the onlyPower, we could make man believe that materiality is hisGo d-thu s violating the First Com ma ndm ent: "Thou shalthave no other G ods before me." If we can wedge th e material-world solidly between man and God, we can rip man apartand cause a total sense of separation between him and hisG od . Then h e will have to worship m aterial idols, and in thisidolatry h e will fight for h is passions, will kill for th em , andwill create such a negative consciousness in planning thefighting-to-keep and th e killing-to-have, that all manner ofthings will be attracted to him . . . things like natural disas-ters, wars, fam ine , disease. We can unleash such evil that thisplanet and the people thereon will gasp for life itself!

nightmare, Watergate, the hostage crises, the Middle East con-flict, terrorism, all mingled and mixed with lesser or greatertragedies, depending on your perspective.

So now we ask . . . is there any way to unpack the bagsfrom the past and make a fresh start? After all, how muchtime do we really have left with this kind of mass conscious-ness? Well, you know and I know tha t there has never been aproblem wi thout a solution, a question without an answer, solet's take a close look at the situation and decide what wehave to do.

Where do we go from here?First of all, where are we now? We are living on a planet, a

spaceship called Earth, suspended in a vast and infinite entitycalled space. And even though millions of people are on thePath of Love and Light and Peace, and are dedicating theirlives to Truth, there are still more than 5-billion men , womenand children caught in a competitive struggle just to survive.And in this struggle, each individual thinks, feels and acts;and this mental-emotional-physical activity is registered ineach individual energy field, in each consciousness. Andbecause we are all related and connected on the subjectivelevel. every single impulse in consciousness is impressed andregistered in the collective consciousness of mankind - heuniversal energy field referred to as the race mind.

Now we all know the power of one individual conscious-ness. We know that each one of us can affect matter andchange spacetime itself. We do that each day-from a posi-tive standpoint- in our meditations, prayers and spiritualtreatments. We have seen evidence of incredible changes in

the body as the appearance of disease is eliminated and thephysical organism is restored to health -sometimes instantly.We have also seen miraculous demonstrations of prosperity,true place success, and healed relationships where time andspace were condensed to manifest a present reality. But wealso know what our negative thinking and false beliefs cando -how fear, self-condemnation, unforgiveness, criticismand resentment toward others can alter our physical structure



The Future is Now

At th e present ti me , however, our scientific knowledge in thisarea is of the kindergarten variety.

Yes, we have entered the New Age, but now we have theresponsibility, th e obligation, to create th ecivilization of theAquarian Age. That 's our purpose, our mission, yours andm in e. Tha t's why we are here. Now it would be perfectly logi-cal to assume that m ankind ma de a detour somewhere a fewyears back, because if we are living in the Promised Landright now , someon e has a weird sense of hum or. Many of usfrom the Age of Pisces and before did not anticipate a NewWorld with a billion peop le hungry and millions dying eachyear through starvation. We didn't count on the chaos, con-flict and confusion-the suffering and sorrow an d death allover the w orld. We were supposed t o be living in peace an dharmony by now.

But obviously we did n't unload th e baggage of fear, falsebeliefs a nd error patterns as we moved o ut of t he Age of Pis-ces. We carried it all with us, and that was a dangerous thingto do , particularly in ente ring the Aquarian Age . Reme mberthat Aquarius is the water-bearer, and water symbolizes theinspiration of Spirit , thus the Aquarian Age is the Age ofSpirituality. It should be noted that an "Age"- egardless ofwhere it falls on the zodiac, is like a sp ace-time energy mass,ready to serve as humanity's next evolutionary cycle. In thePiscean Age, the emphasis was on the development of theindividual as a personality. In the Aquarian Age, however,the stage has been set for the unveiling of the true spiritualityof man and the identification of each individual as a Spiritualbeing. Consequently, the A quarian Energy Field is muc h dif -ferent from others. It is prepared to break up an d dissolve the

negative consciousness of th e in divid ual, and if necessary, liketh e Flood , this energy will wash away all oute r conditi ons cre-ated by the race mind, the collective consciousness of man.

As we officially entered the New Age and the AquarianVibration with our Piscean (and other Age) baggage, all hellbroke loose. World war, the dropping of atomic bombs onHiroshima and Nagasaki, the Korean "Police Action" and theViet Nam War. assassinations, crum bling cities, riots. th e dr ug

From the scientific and evolutionary point of view, the Sec-ond Coming could be heralded by evolved beings who growout of the Planetary milieu."

The important thing to realize now is that the Inaugura-tion phase will introduce a comp letely new evolutionary cyclefor man kind . . . one of continuing true Peace on Earth an dsincere Good W ill toward all individuals everywhere.

Will y o u be a part of the Planetary Com mission? If you sayyes, then the healing is continuing . . . and it is continuingwith you!

Forgive everyone, includingyourself. . . forgive the past a nd close the door. Let there bepeace in your heart, the excitement of victory in your mind,an d joyous words on your lips. Turn within an d seek and findand know the only Presence, the on ly Power, the on ly Cause ,the only Activity of your eternal life. Be a totally op en cha n-nel for the glorious expression of this infinite YO U!

And then o n December 31st, join w ith billions around theworld in the healing meditation. Don't just be a spectator. .. the add ition of your individual light may be just th e one toalter the balance and achieve the critical mass of spirituality.
