Off site corporate meetings, many companies are saying this has become a great expense that is not necessarily helpful in promoting their product and building employee morale or making them more efficient. Through research we have found that this is quite the opposite. A survey of Fortune 500 companies’ shows face-to-face meetings has the highest return on investment of any marketing tool available to them.
"Knowledge sessions" held throughout the day would aid companies in crafting new strategies to highlight the inherent importance of in-person gatherings. As quoted by Ben Stein, Actor, lawyer, economist and Nixon speechwriter "The truth is that business meetings are usually not a waste of time, even if they are held in Las Vegas or at a resort with a golf course near a Southern California beach," Stein said. "They are not decadent, with rare exception.
Off –site corporate presentations serve as an effective
Happy Labor Day
The first Labor Day in the United States was celebrated on September 5, 1882 in New York City In the aftermath of the deaths of a number of workers at the hands of the U.S. military and U.S. Marshals during the 1894 Pullman Strike, President Grover Cleveland put reconciliation with Labor as a top political priority. Fearing further conflict, legislation making Labor Day a national holiday was rushed through Congress unanimously and signed into law a mere six days after the end of the strike Cleveland was also concerned that aligning an American labor holiday with existing international May Day celebrations would stir up negative emotions linked to the Haymarket Affair. By the 20th century, all 50 U.S. states have made Labor Day a state holiday.
The form for the celebration of Labor Day was outlined in the first proposal of the holiday: A street parade to exhibit to the public "the strength and esprit de corps of the trade and labor organizations," followed by a festival for the workers and their families. This became the pattern for Labor Day celebrations. Speeches by prominent men and women were introduced later, as more emphasis was placed upon the economic and civil significance of the holiday. Still later, by a resolution of the American Federation of Labor convention of 1909, the Sunday proceeding Labor Day was adopted as Labor Sunday and dedicated to the spiritual and educational aspects of the labor movement.
Traditionally, Labor Day is celebrated by most Americans as the symbolic end of the summer. The holiday is often regarded as a day of rest and parades. Speeches or political demonstrations are more low-key than May 1 Labor Day celebrations in most countries, although events held by labor organizations often feature political themes and appearances by candidates for office, especially in election years. Forms of celebration include picnics, barbecues, fireworks displays, water sports, and public art events. Families with school-age children take it as the last chance to travel before the end of summer recess. Similarly, some teenagers and young adults view it as the last weekend for parties before returning to

tool for convincingly presenting your company, and its
products and services to your target audience. Since corporate presentations today use flash and other hi-end multimedia tools to develop highly engaging and creative presentations; it is not always within the wherewithal of the company to do this on its own. Hence, corporate firms, both big and small are today outsourcing such work to professional companies such as Charisma Productions Network, which specialize in such areas.
An impressive corporate presentation not only
effectively showcases your products and services but it
also helps in enhancing your corporate image and add
value to your business.
A corporate meeting complete with impressive
animation, videos, photos, voice over and music would
definitely have more impact on the target audience as
compared to a static presentation. Therefore, various
companies incorporate flash into their corporate
meeting in order to make them more appealing and
impressive. Audio video solutions help in grabbing the
attention of the users in relation to the subject
highlighted in the meeting or event, thus motivating
them and engaging them with the subject. Moving
images have a powerful impact amongst the viewers
as they have the ability to portray and inspire hidden
emotions.
In an off-site corporate presentation you can present all information in an interesting and user-friendly manner, giving details such as the company’s goal, product/services details, various services, catalogues, infrastructure manpower, and growth pattern and just about anything you wish to. You can use images and video clips of your company, its people, its infrastructure, etc, in the presentation. This enhances credibility and also enables your customers, dealers and investors to have a look at your company. For creating corporate presentations, you should approach a professional production company, such as Charisma Productions Network, to create innovative presentations which would enable you to communicate to your audience easily, make them aware of your company and influence their decisions.
Offsite Meetings and Productions benefit:
Clients - With the help of a corporate presentation you
can tell prospective customers in detail about your
services and show details of your previous successful
work. This way you lend credibility of your work to new
as well as existing customers get to know what
benefits they stand to derive from you.
For educating or updating employees - You can
make corporate meetings to impart training to your
employees, help them update themselves and improve
their skill sets. It can also be used for maintaining good
internal communications among employees of different
departments.
Trade fairs & exhibitions - You can demonstrate
about your company, various products and services at
trade shows with the help of a professional looking
corporate presentation.
Conferences & important meetings - In conferences
and critical meetings, a presentation helps you to
convey your point in a much clearer and profound
manner.
Product launches - Whenever your company is
launching new products in the market; you can
efficiently inform the prospective buyers what your
product is all about by giving a presentation.
Meetings facilitate engagement. People engage by
being invited into the game. If they know the business
goal, the team goal and the role they have to play then
they're more likely to truly plug in to the business. If
they don't know what the business is trying to achieve,
how can they connect with business goals alone at
their desk? Off-site meetings and presentations still
hold a powerful message, one that a web conference
or phone conference cannot compare to.

school, although school starting times now vary.
In U.S. sports, Labor Day marks the beginning of the NFL and college football seasons. NCAA teams usually play their first games the week before Labor Day, with the NFL traditionally playing their first game the Thursday following Labor Day. The Southern 500 NASCAR auto race was held that day from 1950 to 2004.

Labor Day Potato Salad
For the Mayonnaise:
2 large egg yolks
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Kosher salt
1 1/2 cups neutral-flavored oil (such as vegetable, canola or peanut)
For the Salad:
2 1/2 pounds small red bliss potatoes, quartered
3 cloves garlic, smashed
Kosher salt
6 slices bacon, chopped
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 red onion, diced
3 stalks celery, diced
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1/2 cup Dijon mustard
Directions: Make the mayonnaise: Put the egg yolks in a food processor and add the vinegar, mustard and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Turn
on the machine and very slowly start to drizzle in the oil (drip until the mixture starts to look like mayonnaise, then you can start adding it in a slow, steady stream). If the mayonnaise is too thick, add a few drops of water; if it is not thick enough, add a little more oil with the motor running.
Make the salad: Put the potatoes and garlic in a large pot. Add enough water to cover the potatoes by 2 inches and season generously with salt. Bring the water to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to medium and simmer until fork-tender, about 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook the bacon in the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until browned and crisp, about 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the onion, celery and vinegar. Season to taste with salt.
Drain the potatoes and transfer them to a large bowl (discard the garlic). Add the bacon-onion mixture to the hot potatoes and stir to incorporate. Gently stir in 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise and the mustard and season with salt. Refrigerate until cold.
