to Broadcast God’s Word
OUR VISION FOR MINISTRY:
To minister God’s love by…
Serving People Who Serve Others
For Our Guests
We believe in Encouragement for Everyone!
Our Hope For You…
That God’s love will flow from us to you as we fellowship
today. May you be heartened by God’s love, inspired by
God’s Holy Spirit and encouraged to make Jesus Christ your
Lord and Savior.
Looking For A Church Family?
To serve you better, please complete the Welcome/Request
Information Card located in the sanctuary pew. Place the
completed card in the offering plate when it is passed or
hand it to a greeter or the pastor as you leave the sanctuary.
Having Difficulty Hearing?
We want EVERYONE to hear clearly. The BEST location
in the sanctuary for hearing is close to the center aisle, 8 to
10 rows back from the front. If you are having trouble
hearing, you might want to try sitting near this area.
Wireless hearing aid devices are available at the sound
booth in the rear of the sanctuary.
GRAND JUNCTION
“Charmed into Righteousness: The Purest Life”
Reinhold Niebuhr: “On the whole, people do not achieve moral
heights out of a sense of duty. You may be able to compel them to
maintain certain minimum standards by stressing duty, but the
highest moral and spiritual achievements depend not upon a push but
upon a pull. People must be charmed into righteous.” (Leaves from
the Notebook of a Tamed Cynic 75)
Ellen White: “You cannot but be charmed with the matchless
attractions of the Son of God.”(Christian Education 76)
The Uninvited Dinner Guest

THE TIME TO BUILD CAMPAIGN
WHAT IS IT?
A focus on growing, sowing and going in FAITH.
It is impossible to please God without faith. Hebrews 11:6
4 PURPOSES OF TIME TO BUILD
1. TO ADVANCE SPIRITUAL MATURITY BY
STRETCHING OUR FAITH
When your faith is tested, your endurance has a
chance to grow. James 1:3-4
2. TO ENHANCE RELATIONAL UNITY BY
COOPERATING TOGETHER All the believers were united in heart and mind …
Acts 4:32-35
3. TO HELP FINANCE RELOCATION of CHURCH,
SCHOOL, CHILDCARE
I want you to excel also in this gracious act of giving.
2 Corinthians 8:7
EQUAL SACRIFICE, NOT EQUAL GIFTS
Obviously, God has not given everyone the ability to give the
same amount in dollars. However, God does call us to make
the same quality of commitment.
4. TO HONOR THE EVERYDAY HEROES OF FAITH
SERVING IN OUR CHURCH FAMILY
give him the honor that people like him deserve.
Philippians 2:25, 29
WHAT WE WON’T DO
1. WON’T PRESSURE you to give.
2. WON’T SELL anything!
3. WON’T PROMOTE PRODUCTS mixed with giving.
WHAT WE WILL DO
1. Show how everyone can give something’.
2. Ask people to sacrifice
3. Follow the biblical pattern for an offering in 1
Chronicles 29.
