Hi, and thanks for subscribing to my list.
This is a set of charts of 70 guitar scales, but before we start let me quickly explain…
How to Read the Charts
Below you can see a short cheat-sheet. It presents one of the most basic guitar scales – the C
major scale.
The upper case letters on the left side of the chart represent guitar strings. Just to remind
you, the E at the bottom represents the thickest string, and the E at the top represents the thinnest
one.
The numbers at the top of the chart indicate frets. The number “0” represents an empty
sound (the string shouldn’t be held down on any fret while playing it).
The orange circles represent specific notes. They indicate the strings and frets on which the
strings need to be held down while playing the notes.
This doesn’t mean that all of the indicated notes need to be held down simultaneously (as if
you were playing guitar chords). Instead, it’s just a presentation of all the notes that are part of a
given scale.
now let’s take a look at the charts

About the Author
I’m Carlos. I’ve been playing guitar since I was 14 (I think, I can’t
remember exactly). However, I’m no virtuoso yet. The fact is that
I wasn’t practicing every day. There were periods of time, some of
them quite long, when I wasn’t touching the instrument at all. But
now I’m back, playing again, learning again, and sharing my stuff
to help you in your own journey.
That’s why I started LearnGuitar2.com – my guitar blog. Feel free
to tune in for even more FREE info.
Lastly, if you have any questions or just want to say hi, feel free to
contact me anytime you want via email ([email protected]) or
Twitter (@learnguitar2).
Thanks again, and I wish you nothing less than absolute success!
