Celia Sandys

Celia Sandys has written fi ve books about her grandfather. They cover various less known aspects of his life including “From Winston With Love and Kisses”, “The Young Churchill”, “Churchill Wanted Dead or Alive”, his thrilling adventures in the Boer War, and “Chasing Churchill - The Travels of Winston Churchill” which was made into a three part television documentary which Celia presented and was aired in the US and the UK. Having travelled with her grandfather, when a teenager, she has for the past ten years been leading tours in his footsteps to places he liked best.

Lord Watson of Richmond

Alan Watson was Chairman of the English Speaking Union for six years, he is now International Chairman Emeritus. He has written a short history of the rise of the English language and in 2005, he was awarded The Churchill Medal for outstanding service in the promotion of English.

A BBC broadcaster for three decades, Lord Watson ‘s career has brought together broadcasting, politics, academia and international service.
