Jacob Sound is an entertainer and Premier Boston DJ that has earned a reputation for delivering. His background is steeped with music and entertainment having earned a degree in Music Production and Engineering and performing as a Boston Wedding DJ, Boston Special Event DJ and Boston Celebration DJ at Fenway Park, NYC Ballet, and Harvard University as well as traveling regularly to cities across the U.S.

Being a wedding DJ, I get a large amount of ‘Do Play’ and ‘Do Not Play’ song requests. Before any event, especially a wedding, I would like to take a moment to clear the air and give some insight into some general rules about what SHOULD NOT be played at a wedding.

I will never be the wedding DJ that plays the Macaraina. It just won’t happen. For one , it isn’t in my library. For another, it’s a dated song that scares everyone. This is by far the most requested song I ever get.
