The backing tracks are in A major, E major, and G major. Below are scale fretboard diagrams for scales you can use to solo over the tracks. Included are the Pentatonic Major, Pentatonic Minor, and Blues Major scales for both keys. Tips: 1. Try each of the 3 scale patterns for each key. Listen for the differences. 2. The Blues scale will probably sound the best to you. Make sure to use that one. 3. Look for the highlighted root notes. Start there and land there occasionally as you as you play. 4. Pick a starting root note position on the fretboard and practice there for a while before moving to other positions up and down the fretboard. For example, for the A scales, try starting on the A at the 5 th fret of the E string. 5. Print this sheet out for reference as you play. Cheat Sheet- Scales for Blues Backing Tracks

The backing tracks are in A major, E major, and G major. Below are scale fretboard diagrams

Tips:

1. Try each of the 3 scale patterns for each key. Listen for the differences.
