Pour a bit of sand into the cardboard tube to add some weight.

Tape one end of a cardboard tube with masking tape to close it off.

1 3Scotch tape a party streamer on the cardboard tube and wrap it around until the tube is completely covered with the streamer, and tape it into place.

Stick the chopstick through the middle of a sponge cube and then stick the chopstick into the sand in the tube.

Attach a plastic cap from an old glue bottle to the inside of a recycled cat food tin. Make sure that the cap is placed off-centre in that tin – that way the head will bobble. If you don’t have a glue bottle cap, you can use anything you want as long as the chopstick fits into it.

Scotch tape two bottle caps onto the recycled cat food tin to create some eyes.

Use scissors to cut out some teeth from a piece of paper and tape them underneath the recycled cat food can.

Make ears by taping two tabs from recycled cat food cans to the top of the bobble head.

Cut a pair of hands from scrubby foam or construction paper and glue them to two pipe cleaners.

Use a pencil to poke holes in each side of the body for the arms.

Slide the pipe cleaner arms into the holes then bend the pipe cleaner inside the tube so the arms don’t fall out.

Now give your Artzooka bobblehead creation a shake, and watch him bobble!

Roll up two little balls of modeling clay and stick them right into the centre of the bottle caps for pupils.
