Base OilCHITRAOil Based Mud ChecksheetChecks below to be performed before and during fuel oil transfer from Supply Vessel and signed off byOIM/Toolpusher/B.E. as a record of commencement of spill protected operations.No.Check points: Main deck and Pt room.Done1Visually inspect mud take on hose.2Check condition of Avery-Hardol valve if fitted.3Ensure hose floation collars are in place.4Inspect base oilfixed containment areas. (Dry and bungs fitted)5Barge Eng / Mud Eng has informed all parties of SOBM required & into what tank(s).6Good communications between Barge Eng, C/ Op & Master of Vessel.7No hot work in progess around deck take-on manifold.8Crane to be manned throughout operation9Pti volumes to be taken prior to receiving SOBMObtain A Work permit and conduct JSA Meeting.After connecting loading hose to vessel and before pumping Base oil.10Stand-by man with radio monitoring SOBM hose at Manifold & boat11Hoses are long enough to allow Vessel to manoeuvre.12Hoses not tangled up (preventing other hoses from being used / moved).13Deck manifold valve OPEN after performing the above.14Line up to mud pits all valves OPEN to receive.16Derrickman to be in radio contact with Crane operator.17Derrickman to inform Crane Operator when ready to receive SOBM.18Derrickman to inform Crane Operator that the rig is receiving SOBM19Derrickman to inform Crane Operator to stop pumping on reaching the requiredvolumeAfter disconnecting Base oil hose from Supply Vessel.20Avery-Hardol valve is closed correctly if fitted21Hose to be drained back through manifold as much as is feasible22Deck manifold take-on valve CLOSED and locked off.23Tank fill valve CLOSED.24Final pit volumes to be taken and Barge Engineer informed.PERMIT NUMBER:OIM / Toolpusher / B.E. : Date :Mechanic : Date :
