The Boosters club sponsored another successful season of summer camps with over 400 campers across 20 various sports and music camps. The tradition will continue in the summer of 2019…our 14th year of camps! MRHS offers an excep-tional summer camp experience with exposure to MRHS facilities and excellent staff. Dates and camps offered for summer of 2019 will be released in February 2019.

Our indoor and outdoor Concessions booths provide a wide variety of food and bever-ages at MRHS events. Volunteering at the concessions booth is a fun way to support our students. Go to the boosters website to sign up for a shift. The Hitching Post school store sells a variety of spirit wear, school supplies and snacks. It is open Monday-Friday after school so students can pick up snacks and any-thing they may need for after-school activities.

The Mustangs Boosters Club established two $2000 Senior Award Scholarships to be given annually to a couple seniors who have made a significant difference to their school and commu-nity during their time at Marriotts Ridge. The 2018 Boosters Senior Scholarships were awarded to Emma Meininger and Michelle Yu. Congratulations to Emma, Michelle and all the nominees that MADE A DIFFERENCE at the Ridge. The 2019 Senior Scholarship Application information can be found on the Boosters’ website this November.

The Mustang Madness silent auction event is a FUN and profitable adult night out. It includes dinner, music and of course auction activities– all while mingling with other Mustang parents and faculty. This is our main fundraising event for the year. Many thanks to those who donated items and attend-ed the event making this one of our most successful years ever. We look forward to seeing new and old faces participating in the event for this coming year!

The Mustangs Booster Club runs the Deep Fried Oreo Booth at the Howard County Fair. This has become a favorite tradition and major fundraiser for the last 10 years! This year the fair runs Aug 4-11, 2018. THANK YOU to all the Mustangs who volunteered their time this summer to help! Don’t worry if you missed it this year, you can volunteer next year!
