All assignments will be graded on a 10-point scale.Grading
Homework and In-class Assignments 40%
Assigned on Thursday and due Thursday of the following week. Late homework will incur a penalty of 10% per 24 hours. No assignments will
be accepted more than 48 hours after the designated turn-in time. Assignments must use engineering paper and be fastened with a single staple. Aspen or other electronic assignments must be submitted through Moodle. No
email submissions will be accepted.
Intermediate Tests 30%
There will be three intermediate tests throughout the semester. If an exam ismissed with a validexcuse the final project will increase in value by 10% relativeto the overall grade. No makeup exams will be given.
Group Project 30%
A group design projects based on subsections of the design example. Grouppresentation and report due dates will be announced later in the semester.
Late projects will not be accepted.
