1. Presentation a. History

Our company was created in 1986. The head office is located in Cavaillon (South of France).

Our motto «bringing out chemical solutions» is the perfect sum up of our history, that explains how we developed our

company throught solutions we found to solve our customers business issues. We were able to do it thanks to our tech-

nical, sales and logistics expertises in European and International markets.

1986 Creation of Quadrimex SA near Paris (Val de Marne).The Chemical Specialities Division is launched, acting as an agent for suppliers of basic and specialized chemical products for the industrial sector (30% export sales).

1989 Quadrimex obtains its first contracts from the Army for decontamination products.

1994 Creation of the de-icing agents department.

From 1998 to 2004 Diversification of Quadrimex SA in industrial production for large retailers.

2004Separation with the mass retail division by the creation of Quadrimex Chemical SAS. In addition to its historical distribution activity, the company begins to produce some of its own products and position itself in chemical industry.

2005 Development of export markets for caustic soda, potash, calcium chloride and lithium briquettes, thanks to a new manufacturing partnership with Newton’s.

2009 Takeover of two companies : Viquem and Newton’s, integrating fully the manufacturing activities for Quadrimex Chemical.

2010 Creation of a subsidiary Quadrimex Sulfur Chemical (QSC) following acquisition of the German manufacturing firm ChemComm GMBH on the Leuna site (leading petrochemical site in Europe) .Purchase of Europhtal (pigments and catalysts manufacturer and distributor).

2014 Creation of a production unit of calcium chloride dissolution in our plant in Cavaillon (84).

2015Doubling of the production capacity of our factory in Germany (QSC).

2016Quadrimex Chemical sells its de-icing activity in order to focus on its chemical specialties.

2. Sulfur derivatives

Since 2010, Quadrimex Chemical has its own sulfur derivatives production site (ISO 9001) in Leuna (Germany) on the major European petrochemical site.

Thanks to our production facility in Leuna, we became the European leader and an international reference on high quality

sulfur derivatives. The main raw material, H2S, is brought directly to our plant by 2 pipelines connected to the petroche-

mical site in Leuna.

PROCESS DESIGN PACKAGE:

The speciality of Newton’s® is to optimize existing drying units and the

design of new units in the refinery (gasoil, kerosene, LPG,…) and gas, che-

mical industries and petrochemicals.

Newton’s® provides a technological expertise throughout some enginee-

ring projects – from installations design a right through the supply of

consumables adapted to each customer’s specific needs.

DEHYDRATING PILLOWS :

In our factory in Cavaillon, we manufacture dehydrating pillows. Different

types exist and are dedicated to several type of hydrocarbons.

SWEETENING TECHNOLOGIES

Quadrimex Chemical can supply its own catalysts, Europhtal®, in liquid

6. Press release : Quadrimex focuses on its chemical specialties2016, December 19th.

The Quadrimex Group has just sold its subsidiary Quadrimex Salt (No 2 in France, specialized in de-icing salt) to the Spa-

nish company Iberica de Sales (Minersa group).

As a salt producer, Iberica de Sales has been one of the historical suppliers of the Quadrimex Group for more than 20

years.

7. Press release : Quadrimex Chemical develops its activities in Asian refineries2017, August 8th.

The great performances of the new diesel dryer set up in Singapore by Quadrimex Chemical opens the doors to the Asian market.

Dedicated for more than 30 years to niche chemical specialties, Quadrimex Chemical proved once again its expertise to

deal with specific industrial issues through a tailor-made approach.

In Singapore, Quadrimex Chemical’s customer was facing 2 major challenges: increase the flow rate of the diesel unit

while maintaining the “clear & bright” quality of the final product.

To deal with these challenges, the Quadrimex Chemical engineering division designed a new diesel drying unit especially

for the customer. The Newton’s* dryer was implemented between the existing vacuum dryer and the diesel storage tank.

Therefore, the refinery managed to increase by 20% the flow rate and to reach, at the same time, the 80 ppm water spe-

cification on the hydrocarbon at the end of the process. A “clear and bright” product that meets the requirements of the

customers and the market.

Thanks to this success, Quadrimex Chemical just signed two new projects in Taïwan and in India.
